That's not bad at all, plus considering I don't have any of those titles on DVD it's very tempting indeed. What's it selling for?

Yep you read that right! I've only got 'Suspiria', 'Deep Red', 'Inferno' and 'Opera' on DVD plus 'Tenebrae' on laserDisc.

Argento isn't my favourite director and I've never had the urge to buy any of his other films on disc. If I can pick this new set up for under £20 I'll defo buy it.

Seeing as you have DEEP RED then I can forgive you, I suppose. If you hadn't then I'd have demanded that you relinquish control of the website to Tanzi and myself.

It's $29.97 US at DVD Planet before shipping.

For Europeans and other international destinations, international shipping looks like $13.50 US ($6.00 per order +$1.50 per disc) See link below.

I have all the films in the box set; I actually own four different versions of TENEBRE and two for PHENOMENA. I'll only consider upgrading if these are given HD releases now.

I had all the films except DO YOU LIKE HITCHCOCK?, but Anchor Bay's prior R1 discs for TENEBRE and PHENOMENA were not 16x9, the new ones are, so I picked it up.  Plus in the states, with free shipping, after using a coupon, I only paid $27.00.  I've already sold my old copies of TENEBRE & PHENOMENA online, which paid for the box set thrice over.  ::)  I will also sell TRAUMA  and THE CARD PLAYER, either at an upcomimg garage sale or get trade for them at a local record store which also rents & sells DVDs.  :-\

Here's the only review I've seen of the set so far.  Pretty cursory generic review.  Not much info on the new TENEBRE & PHENOMENA 16x9 transfers (The prior R1 NTSC Anchor Bay transfers were non-anamorphic).

I'm providing caps and other info on the older AB releases for DVDBeaver reviews of TENEBRE and PHENOMENA so there will be a comparison review up there but I'm sure others will beat it to the web if people are already getting their copies.

My copy arrive yesterday and I watched TENEBRE.  Apparently, there is an issue whether the image has been stretched on the anamorphic transfer. (see Eric's post above mine)  I didn't notice it, but it may be just slight, not like the recent R1 release of BEDAZZLED, which was atrociously stretched.

I'm looking forward to rest of the set, especially the anamorphic PHENOMENA.  ::)  Also looking forward to DO YOU LIKE HITCHCOCK?, which I've yet to see.
