Title: The lovelockandload Ray Lovelock interview - Ideas and feedback
Post by: Jonny on 09 Sep 2012 - 17:45
Now that we have the backing and are good to go ahead with the interview I'd like to ask everyone if they have any questions they'd like to ask Ray during the interview.

We'd like this to be a career spanning interview so feel free to ask about any aspect of his career.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who stepped up to fund this - I'm really chuffed we've saved this opportunity... it could have very easily not happened at all.

Just one thing about the questions (and a rather obvious point...) I need to make the guy feel comfortable so please don't ask anything that might be intrusive to his private life! Keep it clean and just focus on the films. I always approach these interviews chronologically starting with the first and ending with the last... although in this case I don't think there's any point going into much (any!) of his television work which makes up most of his recent work.

What are his memories working with Lilli Carati and Gloria Guida in To Be Twenty?

Did he think bigger things may have been on the horizon after his small role in The Cassandra Crossing?

Sorry about that! I had to get this started today though as I wasn't sure if it would get the backing in time for the October deadline. Didn't realise how quick the response would be!

You'll still get to see the interview though.

I would love to hear his views on the decline of the Italian film industry, to what it is now.
It's always great to hear about it from someone who actually lived it, and was a part of it.

Also, a few misc. things you may like to ask about:
-working with Arthur Kennedy on Non si deve profanare il sonno dei morti (The Living Dead at The Manchester Morgue);
-working with Edwige Fenech on La vergine, il toro e il capricorno (The Virgin, the Bull and the Capricorn);
-working with Fulci on Murderock;
-other questions about some of his minor films, such as working on that bizarre (but fun to watch) mess that is Play Motel.

Play Motel...now that would be an interesting line of discussion.

I'd love to hear about Risking and particularly the stunts.

Anthony/Jonny would it be taking the piss to ask Ray to sign an image for each of the 25 that could be included in the DVD case? Would be a nice little bonus.

What do you mean mate? Like a separate still, an insert card type thing?

Yes, just a small insert, like you did with your Queens of Evil DVD, that Ray could quickly sign 25 of. I could get the images printed at work on quality photo paper for free if you want.

How did he got involved in the vocals of some of the theme tunes?

Was a music career something he ever considered on a larger scale?

I think he mentions this on one of the interviews he's already done? Didn't he do the theme songs as a way to practice his English?

Just found the quick translation in the Ray Lovelock Sings thread. Sounds like he played sone music to Angelo Lavagnino and he liked one for Queens of Evil enough to use but doesn't go much further or into the Japanese releases he had.

I would be interested if he has some memories of Maurizio Merli (Roma Violenta), and what was it like working with him and working with Tomas Milian in "Almost Human".

His experience with the directors and their directing styles (Lenzi, Deodato, Massi, Prosperi). Maybe he would like to share some funny or memorable on-set-stories.

About his stunt-work and his most dangerous / outrageous stunt-work he had to do in his career.

I also would be very interested in his thoughts on the decline of italian genre cinema.

Was there a actor / actress he wanted to work with back then but never got the chance ?

In retrospect, was there a movie he was not happy with at all and what movie was he most fond of ?

hmhmhm I see I am severly punished for not being on the forum for one day... :-[

Perhaps you can ask him why it was that "live like a cop, die like a man"  didn't get a sequel while that was originally the plan. I thought I read somewhere there was tension between him and Mark Porel.

Bt if that is too awkward too ask you can ask him about the intro of that film when they had that motor chase through downtown Rome, for which they didn't have a license. How did they make those shots, any anecdotes about it?

I'm going to get a couple of signed but un-numbered DVD-Rs to give away. Give those who missed out another chance to grab one.

Don't forget that just because you missed out on being able to invest doesn't mean you'll not get to see the interview. Anyone who wants to see it will be able to.

I was out and about yesterday and saw the email. I immediately tried to sign in to LLL, but for the life of me I couldn't remember my password on the phone (i have it saved in my browser session on my PC). In 1981 Ray was to star in (what was to be) Riccardo Freda's last film Murder Obsession with Laura Gemser. However, the lead role went instead to Stefano Patrizi (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0665981/). Any reason why Ray was ultimately left out of the film?

How did he find being (pretty much) the only male cast member in QUEENS OF EVIL and how did he get on with the 3 ladies, did he have a favourite out of the three? Any on set anecdotes about the shoot etc?

How much on set time did he get with Gian Maria Volonte when making BANDITI A MILANO? How was it working with him and again any anecdotes about that shoot. Did he stick around on set even after his character's screen time had ended (that's if they shot it in sequence of course).

How did he find working alongside his friend Tomas Milian on the various films they did together? Is he still in touch with Milian? How would he feel about doing a new Italian crime film with Milian (could maybe put that across as a 'fantasy' project, rather than something that could happen)? Who would be his favourite director from the past (or maybe one he never worked with) who he'd like to direct it?

Get as much info on Edwige Fenech as possible  :-\

I was thinking something along these lines for the front of the DVD. I built this in Photoshop which is atrocious at text handling as I left my Pagemaker disc at work.

If you have any hi-res stills Jonny I could use them for the back sleeve I reckon.

Thoughts, suggestions, pies anyone?

Chuffed that you'll be able to nail down Mr. Lovelock for this interview, best of luck!

As far as questions to be included, lots of great ones already mentioned (particularly interested in his take on the decline of Italian cinema and Manchester Morgue) but how about asking his opinion on La Settima Donna, his memories of the shoot, of Florinda Bolkan and playing such a reprehensible character in said film.

Also, Johnny-if you're looking for back cover text for the DVD, I'd be happy to lend my pen to your aid, sir!  Just let me know either here or via PM. Cheers all!

He said in one interview he loves to watch movies with his friends (think more older ones), does he watch his own movies too from time to time and/or does he collect movies in general (dvd/vsh/laserdisc)?

Was there ever a shoot in italy were he didn't feel safe on the set ? (Terrorism, Red Brigade, Camorra etc.) ?

We know movies back then were shoot rather quickly and often simultaneously. Did he ever work on more then one movie at the time ? And was the general atmosphere rather stressful? (get the movies out as quick as possible)

Yeah, it'll be more cost effective to do it that way. Otherwise the sleeves would have to go from Sweden to Italy and then posted again from Italy.

Not if the postage from Sweden is free.

Can send the discs out in smaller size packages this way too.

There's still about 5 people who haven't paid. I'll not chase them just yet, if the payments aren't in by the time the interview is ready to ship out I may let some of the guys who missed out take their places.

The main thing is that with the payments we have had the money has been raised to cover the necessary basic expenses which means the interview can go ahead.

Did my payment go through ok?

I've no idea the payment didn't go to my paypal account. You'll have to ask DjangoLi

I was going to ask the same thing.

Those who don't pay should be named and shamed!

I just assumed and hoped mine went through okay else I'd get a reminder email or something. Timing was lucky because I only got back from holiday last Wednesday night.

Sorry to report that the mailing of these completed DVDs will incur a postage cost of £2.50 per person. I had hoped to get these out with no cost, but 25 x £2.50 (£62.50) is a but too salty!

Today I will post out the following 5 who gave me their addresses:

Aarron
Jonny (with 2 sleeves as requested)
Paul
Mark (UK)
Mark (Austria)

Could you please PayPal gift £2.50 to my paypal account:

tarasboulba98@yahoo.co.uk

If any other of the remaining 20 want a DVD box with cover, then send me your address!

Okay, another long day (at work this time...) but a few more things about the interview and what happens next before I hit the hay...

I've still got just over an hour and a half of Lenzi to subtitle for FilmArt, luckily, it's going quite smoothly so it shouldn't take too much longer. Once it's done, I'll move on to this interview. It clocks in at around four and a half hours but that's going to have to be whittled down a pinch to smooth it over. Hopefully we can jazz this interview up with some clips and trailers as well...

We managed to get all 25 inserts signed - and we also have another 11 (the printer made a few extra copies to show us if were happy with them and we ended up keeping them as well...) I'm sending copies to luca canali, skadog, dario, lordretsudo and quidtum over at CG - and one for myself - That leaves 5 for Jonny... (just so everyone knows exactly how many copies there are)

Editing won't take more than two or three evenings but the subs are going to take a while - If I'm being realistic, I'd say spread out over October and November, they should be ready by the start of December. Hopefully sooner, but we'll have to see how it goes...

As for the kitchen! Hey, it was quite a nice pad, those surfaces looked pretty clean to me! Unfortunately, he wouldn't let us stroke the tiger he had chained up in the room next door, but we did get a great photo of Ray with his pride of lions on the balcony  ::)

If you think my comment about the "messy" kitchen was a bit crazy and random, try to picture me in the middle of a crazy day at work (I'm an accountant, one of the most incredibly boring professions on the face of the planet), typing comments about Ray Lovelock's kitchen while surrounded by thousands of documents...  ;D

I assure you all, I have no kitchen fetishes.  :-\

Can't wait to check out the interview, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
I appreciate your time and efforts with all this, DjangoLi.  ;)

I think we were aiming for an early 2013 finish date anyway initially so don't stress over rushing to finish it, would be a great Christmas treat though! If you need any help with any part of putting the disc together just let me know. Good to know there's four and a half hours of footage though!  :P

Just want to keep everyone updated about this project:

With (a lot...) of help from my brother, we're just about finished with the Lenzi interview for FilmArt. It's turned into quite a beast, clocking in at about 2h:15m - Divided into four sections: Adventure Films/Eurospy & Fumetti/Giallo/Poliziesco - with 'just about' equal time dedicated to each section. Fingers crossed, the Giallo/Poliziesco parts will be on the forthcoming 'Brothers Till' We Die/'La Banda del Gobbo' DVD. For the rest... when the dust settles I'll probably throw it up on CG at some point, I'm not 100% sure at the mo'.

With that out of the way I can now get started with Ray Lovelock - I'm actually quite positive we'll have this one in the can by the end of the month. The Lenzi interview didn't take very long to subtitle - and that's the part that could be most time consuming. I haven't played it back since we recorded the interview but I'm optimistic it's going to be the same... Let's say I'm about 90% sure you'll have it by Christmas.

Something I feel should be mentioned:

This idea for this interview came from FilmArt in Germany. They asked me to find him and get a short interview for their 'Django Kill!...' disc. Obviously that didn't happen - they wouldn't pay the 500 euro fee (which is fair enough, they told me funds were tight, that's why they backed out) . And that's how it ended up here, as a fund raiser.

The total running time is going to be (at least...) two-three hours, after everything's been edited and tidied up a bit. As with the Lenzi interview I'm not going for a slick 15 minute sound bite. For the sake of keeping a historical record of events back then, I've kept just about everything in the interviews.... very, very, little ends up on the cutting room floor, so to speak. It's going to be the same with this interview - Actually, this is going to be longer because I DID have to cut out about 15 minutes from the Lenzi interview where he was slagging off Giovanni Lombardo Radice, a very sad bit about Tomas Milian, Robert Ginty (he really didn't hold back about him...!) You get the picture... Thankfully, Ray was very kind towards all of his colleagues so there's going to be very little chop out.

Where was I?

Right... Okay, I'd like to send FilmArt a 10 - 15 minute extract of the interview for their disc. Please note that this is being given to them for free. They've been great to deal with genuinely come across as stand up guys. In the spirit of simply 'spreading the word...' I'd just like to make sure that everyone is okay with this - I'm just laying all the cards on the table, as they say. I should add that you guys who donated will get the full interview before their DVD is released - I'm doubtful their disc would be out before December.

Ah! One last thing.... There is a vague possibility of the same thing happening again with a director. I've got a date set but I'm still not 100% sure if FilmArt can fund it (again!) I'll know more in a few days. I can't say much but the target is 300 euros... I had half a mind to front the cash for this one myself but, alas, life is far from fair... We hit a wild boar about two weeks ago that caused 700 euros worth of damage to our car so we are very much penniless right now. It's all up in the air at the moment but when I know more I'll get in contact with Jonny and see if we can implement another 'plan b'.

Over and out.

(In case anyone's wondering... The wild boar skidded along the road about two metres then rolled four times... got up and darted off!)

lol... it's just him slagging them off, not very pleasant (but it was very amusing!) We were thinking of chucking an outtakes reel over the credits with shots of Lenzi getting all worked up. Not sure it's in good taste tho', I also promised I'd send him a copy for him to approve...

DjangoLi: I'm all for another project, if another interview comes up.
It's always fascinating to hear more about these figures directly from them, in their own words.
And I can't wait to check the Lovelock interview.

You know what: one of these days, instead of "funding" interviews, we should consider working on releasing a film on DVD/BD, something obscure and more or less cheap to license.
I can see it now, Jonny: a Lovelockandload presentation. Free JB bottle with every purchase. ;D

And picture this for PR: remember the guys from Midnight Legacy talking trash about pretty much every genre label there is? Now imagine Tanzi doing a few rounds of PR, and commenting on fellow labels Arrow Video or Shameless?  :-\

What are his memories working with Lilli Carati and Gloria Guida in To Be Twenty?

Did he think bigger things may have been on the horizon after his small role in The Cassandra Crossing?
I've always wondered about the latter. Rewatching it today, I wondered 'is he dubbed?' I know he doesn't know much English, but his character Tom, his accent it's the most generic accent I've ever heard. Like it's not German, Italian, English, American, just a voice. And he has a Christmas sweater.

Cheap to license?  ;D

Cheap to license?  ;D
Yeah, I know even an obscure Italian genre film can be costly to license, and that most Italian companies demand unreasonable amounts for films that aren't likely to make it back. I read a number of posts you made throughout the years in several internet forums regarding your dealings, and you made it clear it isn't as easy (or cheap) as I maybe made it out to be.  ;D

But, the accountant in me looks, for example, at Twilight Time's Blu-Ray release of As Good as It Gets, a major Hollywood production and Oscar-winning film, and starts making a few quick calculations:
-this release had a single pressing of 3000 copies;
-each copy is sold for $29.95, so we are looking, at best, at a maximum turnover of $89.850,00;
-after deducting all production costs, licensing fees (and again, this is a major Hollywood production and Oscar-winning film, so it's bound to be significantly more expensive than a genre film), taxes, the profit margin for Screen Archives (the online store that sells this release for Twilight Time), press screeners and promotion/publicity costs, staff wages, among other costs, $89.850,00 is still enough for the label to make a profit.

That makes me wonder how much a "lower-tier" genre release may cost, the actual costs involved, and how many copies it would need to sell, in order to make a profit.

I confess it's a bit of a dream of mine, and something I would love to do in the future: license a film, and work on releasing it on BD/DVD, while losing as less $/€/£ as possible (or, in an ideal situation, making a profit  ;D).

Who knows, maybe one of these days this will be possible, and in that case I will be sure to contact you for your assistance.  :P

A cold wintery update...

The subs are almost done (the first difficult bit...) but there's still a lot of work to do. I'm not sure when I can get the time to edit it. I had hoped to do it around now but, to be brutally honest, the Lenzi interview has very much taken the wind out of our sails...

It pains me to say it, but I'd like to push for a late January finish date at this point. We're away on holiday from the 18th to the 5th - this is also a (huge) factor because we hadn't planned to go away this year, this was only arranged in the last few days.

No complaints from me, I thought it might not make it out until next year to be honest.

Any chance of a few screen caps to tide us over in the meantime?

An update on where we're at... The problem at the moment is space, I need to pick up a hard drive to store the project files. I'll be sorting that out this week, then a week or two for editing and it will be ready to go.

At this point, any help would be appreciated gathering materials. If anyone has any trailers for his films, please send me a pm. I'm also looking for his Carosello spot, an advert he was in with popular singer Gianni Morandi, driving Vespa's. It dates to around 63' or thereabouts. There are a few on Youtube so I need to check that out properly... For the most part it's trailers that I need.

To polish it all off, I'm tempted to include a fansubbed film which he was fond of, but hasn't seen an English friendly release. This will be exclusive to all the donators, but, no doubt over time, it will uploaded as well - along with the interview.

Aside from space, a lot of the delay has been down to a bit of burn out from the Lenzi interview - that needed a revision, and I finally got the disc posted to Germany last week. For the Ray Lovelock clip (and with full credit given to LLL in the titles  ::)) I ended up giving them the (almost) unedited first 24 minutes. It works as a good introduction and features a bit about Django Kill! - which makes sense for them, given that it's intended for their 'Django Kill!' release some time this year. Just watching that segment - it's dawned on me that it's not worth editing much out - it may clock in at around 4 hours, or not far off. This will also making editing it a lot easier - and quicker.

So, a lot to do still, but February is looking like the month to get this project either finished, or not far off finished. As before, any help with trailers would be greatly appreciated. Decent hi-res poster (ideally traditional locandine...)  art as well.

A March update:

We solved the space issue by dividing it into 4 parts - I now have parts 1 and 2 (almost two hours...) on my hard drive and I'm going over the subs now. I will end up with 4 mov (or avi) files, 720p - each weighing in at it around 4gb a piece...

Any suggestions on the best way to present it on disc would be appreciated. Obviously a regular DVD is going to be SD so it will be smaller but I'm thinking two dual layer DVDR's should be okay? Creating a stand-alone player friendly disc with a simple menu isn't a problem. If donators want, I can send them a link where they can download the 720p files.

We've decided against using any clips - I think it's long enough as it is, if we throw in clips it could weigh in at over 5 or 6 hours, all put together, which is way, way, beyond the realms of sane viewing! Dividing it into 4 parts makes more sense...

So, not long to go... as always, thanks for your patience.

Thnx for the recent update DjangoLi,

i don't mind SD (even 1-disc dual-layer) at all .... optional 720p DL links for those who are interested is a great idea. So nobody can moan about the quality.  :)

All good by me, can't wait to see it.  ::)

Are you gonna tell us what Lenzi said about them then? I'm intrigued now. :D

lol... it's just him slagging them off, not very pleasant (but it was very amusing!) We were thinking of chucking an outtakes reel over the credits with shots of Lenzi getting all worked up. Not sure it's in good taste tho', I also promised I'd send him a copy for him to approve...

I know Radice speaks equally highly of Lenzi..lol. There was an interview last yr he did for an american podcast where he speaks about his disdain for Lenzi and his upcoming plans to use the name Lenzivitch as a character for the next film he make with British director Darren ward  ::)

Its too bad that Radice bears a grudge after 30 years, it makes you wonder what really happened in the jungle. Actually its too bad that Lenzi made them shit Cannibal films as well.

Okay folks, I don't like being kept in the dark - so it's only fair I keep everyone updated...

Everything was going swimmingly until I decided to start looking at the Sergio Martino interview for FilmArt - they need a 17 minute chunk (or thereabouts) ideally about him talking about his gialli - but, watching it for the first time since we recorded it, it was obvious straight away that this was 'yet another...' career interview where things kind of follow a logical path, one film to the next, but we often wandered off on tangents, everything from Altamont (he was there!) to over population... everything's a bit scattered around... So, 17 minutes has now become about an hour subtitled - but no edits... and they need this soon. I still need to figure out what 17 minutes to give them!

Throw into the mix an 'emergency' subtitle job for FilmArt helping them with their release of 'Extreme Justice' - what was meant to take 'not very long' rapidly turned into 3 days of utter tedium (combined with brutal flu... followed just one sodding day later by a stomach flu.. which I'm now recovering from...)

Okay... you can stash the violins now... i'm just saying it hasn't been easy!

So, we need to get this moving and you folks need to see 'something' - I've got two hours edited  (each part is one hour) - Part 1 'is' subtitled and ready to go, my plan is to send these both to Jonny, and the subtitle (.srt) file for part 2 will be along shortly after he gets the disc. They need a thorough going over...

Right now the only things I'm working on are these two Lovelock/Martino  - I'll try to get the disc to Jonny sent out by the end of this week.

Some progress on this now, I have both parts of the interview and I'm just waiting for the subs for part 2 then we get the the DVD-R authored, replicated and posted out! Shouldn't be too long now...

Glad it arrived safely Jonny, I was getting worried there!

If you can all give me some more time there's still a third part to put together and subtitle... possibly a fourth, but I'll try to get it edited down to just one part if I can.

A note about the title 'Ray Lovelock In Conversation' - I left the video files with my brother without actually telling him the title should have been 'Ray Lovelock The Interview' (as it appears on your DVD sleeves, and the signed inserts, if I'm not mistaken) If I'd known I would have said something but I was too late... it was an innocent mistake.

We're getting there folks - please remember this all being done entirely for free on my part - I have only lost money on this (petrol, lost lessons, pastries, a nice bottle of wine... and countless hours subbing it all) It's a hobby project through and through...

In about three days my wife and I are moving out to a place that doesn't have an internet connection - this is bad news for me and great news for you because I'll be able to finally dedicate more time to this project...

I just want to say thanks to everyone for your continued patience.

Watched the first 50 minutes last night. It's excellent, very informative but frustrating too because even after nearly an hour we've still not got to Ray's finest films and I'm left itching for more!

Couldn't see any spelling errors etc, it looks good to me. Can't wait to see the rest!

Also nice to hear DjangoLi's voice, albeit in Italian. He's a very good moderator and fields some great questions, keeping the conversion going really well at all times. This is fascinating stuff! I'm well pleased with this so far.

It's actually been pretty intense these last two weeks, a lot of films, finished off the Sergio Martino interview... and almost done with part 2 - just about juggling it all.

I reckon I should have something by this weekend, work has almost dried up until the new school year in september... been a crazy few months though, lots of mileage in the car, lots of exams, etc...

Sadly not in Rio living the high life :(

This means just shy of two hours are now finally in the can.

Okay, finally made it to the local post office this morning. 25 signed inserts are now on their way to the UK... at last!

There are 25 official copies - and I had 11 left over (which I figured I may as well get signed, seeing as Ray didn't seem to mind...) One I'll keep for myself - the other 10 will go to my partners in crime over the years, namely people like DarioArgento, Quidtum, LordRetsudo, etc... Only to people behind the fandubs, fansubs that we've all been watching over the years - people who have worked with me and contributed to preserving Italian genre cinema.

This is now out of my hands - but I need a scan of the cover and 1 copy of the final DVDR - can anyone help out when they're all ready? (Jonny?)

Also, as mentioned to Jonny, there will be a second disc that will be download only for the second half of the interview - Of course, if there's someone who really can't download it then I'm sure myself or someone else will send them a DVDR - but that's only for those who really can't download it (slow connection, etc)

When will it be ready? It's taken me 8 months to get part 1 done so let's allow the same for part 2...

To give you an idea of the interview material I've subbed over the last 12 months...

1 hour of Franco Micalizzi - no ads, no clips, just one solid hour of dialogue.
1 hour of Umberto Lenzi
40 minutes of Riccardo Freda
30 minutes of Sergio Martino
The odd Cinekult extra (probably about an hour and a half all added up)
I'm wrapping up a 35 minute interview with the late Gianni Manera (Peruvian Interview)
... and now just under 2 hours of Ray Lovelock.

Not to mention the films...

This is why it's all taken so long to be honest... it was never just 'one' project.

I'll hopefully burn everyone else's DVD-Rs at the weekend and post next week. I'll post the inserts at the same time I post the DVD-Rs

The Blu-ray option is being looked into by Oli.

I have done Blu-Ray remuxes but have never made one from scratch. The interview is in 720p so I'm going to have a play at making a Blu-Ray with menus. Been looking at some guides online and they don't seem overly complex. Will let you know how it goes.

Cheers all involved  ;) I've downloaded & burned the dvd, the menu's look fantastic  ::)
WinRAR said the file was corrupt, but as I say, it burned to dvd OK, so probably a false report from WinRAR. I might try looking at the best way of getting an image printed on the disc, with a great cover & insert on the way it'll be a shame to have a plain old silver Verbatim disc.
Now to find time to watch it. Thanks again  ;)

Just got in late to see the file had finally downloaded (it's about 2 in the morning here)

I also got the corrupt zip file error but the DVD is fine - and it extracted okay. I've skimmed through it now and no problems whatsoever. Really impressed with Demented's mastering work - it's lookin' good!

Totally relieved it's finally over... The second bonus disc (i.e. parts 3 and 4) will filter down the line over the coming months.... so it's not quite over yet - but the initial obligation has been fulfilled and that is good news. Again, thanks to all the donators and to Ray for making this happen in the first place - and also to Jonny, Hellochas and Demented for going way beyond the call of duty.

Right... I need to hit the hay....

Excellent interview Anthony  ;) I only intended to watch part one, but went through the whole thing. Ray comes across as a really nice bloke, not at all attention seeking or big headed like a few I could name  :D. It's always nice when your favourite actors turn out to be so genuine.

Works like ace Jonny, thanks.

In fact ... watching it right now and Ray seems really like a wonderful guy. Almost finished with part 1 ... time just flew by.

A big big thanks to all involved.  ;)  ;)

Just watched part 1 this morning whilst on the motion cycle. Ray's got a great memory and comes across as a really nice bloke. Needs to ease up on the gaspers though.  :-*

Looking forward to part 2 tomorrow.

I'm one of those who originally paid for the interview, but I didn't receive any link.
I've been away for a few weeks, and my mailbox was full, so there's a big chance the email was undelivered.

Can you please let me know how can I access the interview?
Thanks

I received the link, thanks.

I'll have to try to re-download the file tomorrow, since I downloaded the file, but while going around trying to find out what was happening (the zip file was listing numerous errors) I accidentally deleted both the file, and about 20GB of files I've downloaded in recent months.  ???

Reading the rest of the topic, I see references to Blu-Ray and DVD-R, and parts 3 & 4 (the file I received was labelled 1, I'm not sure if it has parts 1 & 2, or if I'm missing 2).
Did you send out any other emails? If you did, and it's not too much bother, could you please re-send them to me?

Thanks  :P

Got a few packages sent out last week which should be arriving soon, I know some arrived today.

Apologies for those I haven't sent out yet. You'll get them in good time, I'm finding it tough to juggle real world stuff and internet responsibilities at the moment. PM me if you have any questions...

I've also not had replies from a few people as regards the extra £1 or so I need to cover costs for P&P. Again drop me a line if you feel you need to.

As I previously mentioned, I didn't receive any communications regarding this. My mailbox was full during the time I was away for a couple of weeks, and it most likely was undelivered because of this.

You've kindly sent me a download link for the files after I asked for it, but I didn't receive any info regarding the DVD (or the BD you previously mentioned as a possibility), or the £1 you mentioned above.

Please resend me those emails (I originally made the payment as my real name, João Bastos).

Thanks in advance, Jonny  :P
