Title: The Blood Beast Terror (Vernon Sewell, 1968)
Post by: Inspector Tanzi on 20 Nov 2012 - 21:52
Detective Inspector Quennell (Peter Cushing) is investigating a series of deaths where the victims are drained of blood which leads him on the trail of a giant killer moth!

I thought I hadn't seen this Tigon film before but after it had been on a while realised I had.

I thought it was pretty good but hardly a Cushing classic.

There's also a U.K. Blu Ray (Which I think has a nicer cover)

The UK disc also has a nice audio commentary.

The UK disc also has a nice audio commentary.
Are they the same print though?

Years ago I used to listen to all the commentaries, now I probably check out 1 in 30/40 releases.

I've got the Redemption blu and to be honest, It's more completist and wanting to see how good it looked. It's never really been a classic so for £8, that was the perfect price and not something I'd consider doubling up on however good the extras are.
