I am involved with the general promotion of this so yeah spare £8 or so haha. Noting too extravagant and this will happen. Hopefully a springboard for bigger and better things.

-
Yep made it and then some! I know this didn't take off on here but if anyone donated at all thank you so much. This could be the launch pad for something awesome :P

wondering how this release compares, picture wise to the English audio fandub available on CG since march last year
(http://i.imgur.com/dwOitsI.jpg)
seems from the trailer to be the exact same print.
-
Well yeah it will be the same print as they needed the money to be able to clean the print up
-
sorry if i'm being unduly slow, but the trailer shows a English audio dub on a print identical to the one that was a non profit custom at CG, can you confirm that your source is a new master.

Hello Gents!
It's been a while since there was any Final Score news. We had some issues with the master, and sadly the quality won't be very good. The master was never updated since the VHS times and with the budget we are working with there is simply no money for any kind of restoration. But we are still very positive, because it will be the first time it's coming out on DVD and this group kinda saved it from being forgotten.
The guys from the Camera Obscura label are working on the dvd now (menu's and they are processing the master). So we are pretty confident that the menu's are going to look awesome! But we need more material to work with!
We are looking for Hi resolution scans of Posters, VHS Covers, set photos or anything Final Score related. There is not much to find online so we are hoping fans or collectors have something. Please share this in any related forum or groups that you're active in!

Amount in the coffers: £3800
Cost of a transfer from the negative (or 35mm print) £1500 (max)
This would leave you £2300 for disc replication, covers, and boxes. What kind of sum are they asking for the rights to release it? I'm guessing not very much.
Are you in contact with the official rights owner, if so they should have access to the negative or (at the very least) a 35mm print of some sort. It's strange that all they have is a VHS master.
I'm not trying to be negative here but you'll find more of a market if you have a nice clean print to start with, otherwise I can't see many people purchasing what looks like the fandub that's posted on CG pressed on a DVD. I would try to dig a bit deeper and find better materials if possible.
What exactly has the rights owner told you about what they have/don't have?

This is copied and pasted from the official page. I have only really been helping out with a bit of promotion

Oh, I'm not sure, but I think I might need to change my address if it's already been listed. Can't much remember the indiegogo form, see ???
