Title: Gomorrah TV Series
Post by: Jonny on 09 Sep 2014 - 07:07
Anyone seen any of this yet? It's started on Sky Atlantic as far as I'm aware, can't find any decent quality copies out there yet with English subs though.

Yeah I've tried to no avail. Luckily I have Sky so have it backed up, I'll look into ripping from a sky box but it maybe too tech for me.

It's really good btw

I've been recording it on Sky, but not had chance to watch it. Might save them all and watch them in one go. When I was in Italy the Italians were raving about it.

It's now very difficult to rip from Sky. Used to have a box that could do it, got lots of cool off air HD recordings.

That's a nice looking box.

Jonny, I opted for the UK blu. The subs on the version I was going to give you were shite

37.86 euros.

Dearer than the U.K. one I know but the U.K. release obviously isn't for me  :D

Can't say I have a problem with the UK BD. Seems people are being arsey for the sake of it. It's fine

From what I gather, the Italian BDs have several special features (not sure if English friendly), and 5.1 audio (the UK BD has 2.0 audio).

Finished watching it this evening, good stuff, really enjoyed it. Picture quality was fine, none of the jagged edges etc that people have reported in the U.K. release.

The second series started filming last month so at least we know there is going to be more. ::)

Watched the first two episodes this afternoon and love it so far. Via the Arrow Blu, quality looked mint to my eyes. I don't have 5.1 so the audio isn't something I can comment on apart from that I could hear what was going on and there wasn't any problems with the audio I could hear with my ears

He didn't, but maybe my overdose of all things Stewart lately has subconsciously altered my mind.

Finished season one last night, really good! Some stuff I didn't expect plus some that I did (the final shot, I just knew that was going to happen!) Can't wait for the next season.

I was a huge fan of this show, really was the best thing I saw last year. There's an interetsing new series on Sky Arts at the moment called 1992, which I would reccomend to anyone who liked this. Deals with corruption throughout Italy in a fascinating way. I'm about 5 episodes in at the moment and have loved every minute of it.

What does it all mean?

1)

As officially stated by the actor Salvatore Esposito , officially finished filming Gomorrah 2. Here all the advances, but also the period of the official debut on the small screen and above which channel will air. Viewers and fans of the series are ready to relive the twists and the strong emotions that accompanied them during the first edition of Gomorrah last year, at least it will soon be right to say so.

The official release of the launch will take place between the months of March and April. Initially the series Gomorrah will be broadcast on Sky Atlantic, then as with any series here playing on channels Rai few months later. We see a preview before the official start in March and April.  Genny Savastano , one of the protagonists of the series, perhaps the most beloved, waiting for revenge against Cyrus the Immortal, but this is left to wait for the moment. All this because the main character did not initially take part in the series, coming later to dominate the scene. We also remember that the previous series, the debut of Gomorrah, had ended with the shooting of Ciro Di Marzio and Genny Savastano.  The latter had been reduced to the point of death, with little hope all hanging by a single thread. Transported to hospital in serious condition, here to save themselves, but only in a state of deep coma.

2)

Just finished filming the famous series TV Gomorrah 2 : to announce, it has been one of the main actors of fiction, namely Salvatore Esposito, who also revealed some advances. Still, though, do not know when the second series will air: Sky He has yet to formalize everything.

The episodes will be ten: "Not even remotely imagine what awaits you" . These words appeared on the official profile of the famous actor, to increase the curiosity of fans of the series. The escape of Cyrus, the revenge of the Savastano family, this and much more that will happen in the second season of the successful TV series.

To all the fans, we have to wait spring, the time when the second series will "see the light" . Gomorrah The Series 2 will be visible on Sky Atlantis 2 and not on Sky Cinema, which was the case in the previous season.

Hopefully, I reckon it might get shown slightly after though here, was it shown here slightly after Italy last time? I would have thought so, I just got the Blu Set before and didn't check it out when it was on.

Arrow's season two DVD set has 5.1 audio so presumably the BD will also.
