I saw this one a few days ago - a modern American film that wears its influences on its sleeve - the soundtrack mostly comprises cues taken from scores by Bruno Nicolai, Stelvio Cipriani, Goblin, etc - it's a little too much at times, as your mind begins to wander, but it's nicely lit and shot. It's very well acted by the leads, Christopher Abbott and Mia Wasikowska leads. There are two main locations intercut with model shots and rear-projection, vehicular interludes, so it's quite artificial and stagey. In all, it holds your interest and I think it's worth a watch.

Thanks for the heads-up. ;)
The film does sound interesting, and I confess this is the first I hear about it.
If it had a UK BD release, it would be included on my next order, but since it doesn't, it will have to wait for the next time I order something from the US.
I struggle to find interest in the huge majority of modern horror/thriller films, outside of a few "offbeat" efforts, and this one seems to fit the bill.
