Does anybody else turned on by Ajita Wilson? I know shes a transsexual but she has a fabulous body and is the reason i enjoyed Sadomania and Macumba Sexual. She comes off as a sultry ice goddess and melts into very convincing orgasmic scenes imo.

I believe Kev Coed is.

If it's got a hole and a backbone - I'd do it.

You might want to check out BOCCA BIANCA,BOCCA NERA,a hardcore effort from 1987 which also stars Marina Frajese.

While he's mad some fairly dire movies(Zombie Lake,Oasis of the Zombies etc) he's also made some fantastic ones

I thought Jean Rollin directed Zombie Lake? Or have i lost my marbles? I quite liked that.

Anyway, Jess introduced me to Lina Romay, which can't be a bad thing.  8)

Franco wrote ZOMBIE LAKE (or at least contributed storywise).  Direction was by both Jean Rollin and a Spanish director.  I can't remember his first name but I think his last name was Lasema (hence, J.A. Lazer in the credits).  There's a Video Watchdog interview with Marius and Daniel Lasoeur of Eurocine in which they mention ZOMBIE LAKE and Franco's involvement.

Rollin himself gives a different account. I guess we'll never know the truth.

Text below from Fascination: The Jean Rollin Experience

Rollin himself summed up the story behind Zombie Lake very well to Peter Blumenstock in the pages of European Trash Cinema in 1993. He told Blumenstock, “Years ago, I wanted to go on vacation for a few weeks. The morning I wanted to leave, the phone rang. It was a guy from the Eurocine Company and he said, ‘Tomorrow morning we shoot a Horror movies but we have a little problem. The director, Jess Franco, is just not here. Nobody knows where he is. Are you interested?’” After receiving this very unexpected call, Rollin arrived on the set within the next day and as told to Blumenstock he, “took a look at the script and laughed for the next hour, and then shot the film in a very short time.” He also admitted to Blumenstock that, “It was only a technical direction”, and, “Due to the contract…they needed to use the name of a Spanish guy for the credits. They chose J.A. Lazer and what can I tell you, I didn’t care what name they used as long as it wasn’t Rollin!.”

I am not the biggest Francophiliac. To get a better picture of his movies, I tried to score the "Obsession" book on Ebay (multiple times) but got outbid every f*****g time, it's really pricey now...

haha,,,

another really good (non-franco) Ajita Wilson movie is THE NUDE PRINCESS.  BLACK DEEP THROAT was OK too for those willing to plunge into the depths...

Years ago at the Cinemuerte horror film festival here in Vancouver, I tried to have Rollin sign my old big box copy of ZOMBIE LAKE.  He refused - and said he'd only sign it as J.A. Lazer (the whole time me thinking of Monica Swinn in the background scenes of his masterwork LE DEMONIAQUES).  I have so many old VHS copies of ZOMBIE LAKE; It's such a undeniable example of Eurocine that I can never resist surrounding me.  Only thing that comes close in virtual Eurocine perfection is  the qualities and atmosphere of ORLOFF AND THE INVISIBLE MAN.
One of the most exciting things about fully being into the rhythm and flow of the Franco films is that it becomes highly addictive and leads onto other amazing examples of Eurocine directors such as Alain Payet and Pierre Chevalier.

hands down though, i must say that Franco's most 'important' film is LULU'S BUTTONHOLE / LULU'S TALKING ASS (1986).

What would have made Faceless even better would have been a lesbian encounter between Bridget Lahaie and Caroline Munro. Both films hold up well to repeat viewings.

YOUR A PERVIE FELLA JACK ;D ;D.
CAN'T STAND PERVERTS. :D

HAVE NOT SEEN MANY FRANCO FILMS.
ONLY BLOODY MOON AND FACELESS.
FACELESS WOULD BE THE BETTER FILM.
LOVE A FILM BASED IN A HOSPITAL.

FACELESS SCARES ME EVERYTIME I SEE IT.
THE SCENE AT THE END WHERE THEY BUILD A WALL SO NO ONE CAN FINDOUT WHAT HAPPENED THERE.
AND THE HYPODEMIC IN THE WOMANS EYE. BRILLIANT ENTERTAINMENT.
AND THE PART IN THE FILM WHEN U FIND OUT WHY THE FILM IS CALLED FACELESS.WOW!!

I assume you guys have all heard the news about Mondo Macabro going Franco crazy next year with LINDA THE EXORCIST, SINNER and PERVERSE COUNTESS all getting a go, with more possible if those first three sell and the wankers on bittorrent don't eat up all of MM's sales by putting the fucking things online in the first week.  They should be good discs.

That's good news...and more to come!  ::)

I've been looking (for some time) for the complete pre-credit sequence of the Spanish version of The Sadistic Baron von Klaus.
I mean the murders which you see glimpses of in the trailer...
Just the pre-credit sequence would be great,I already own the French and US dvd.
I just love this very early Spanish giallo/krimi by Franco.
