Maybe its just seeing this in Italian but I didn't think much of it other than the reuse of Carlo Savina's score for MALENKA including the title song.

I rather enjoyed the film, plenty of sex and a surprisingly good storyline. Hardcore sleaze fans might be disappointed but all other Euro-cult fans should enjoy this.

The DVD looks great and comes with a very detailed 30 minute interview with the director. He confirms that there was a hardcore version of the film put out, but he had nothing to do with it and it was just a crude insert version - he actually got the producer to withdraw copies of it from the cinemas as he was so disgusted by it.

Nice review Jonny.  I have had the Sharoma DVD for ages but never got round to watching it, think I will be sticking on eBay as I have already pre-ordered the Severin disc.
