Yes, still fetching good money. Especially complete cartons. I'd imagine a mint carton would get well over £100, least that's what I've been told.

Transferred the VHS to DVD-R this afternoon. Couldn't resist uploading the old pre-cert Inter Ocean logo and the BBFC X certificate logo card...

I wouldn't mind seeing it on DVD.  The Canadian VCL tape is very dark.  It is entertaining although the theatrical trailer makes it seem even better.  Besides the moons on cardboard, the background behind the campers' tent is also painted and not underlit enough to convince.

From Redemption's website:

"Because we regard this as a rather special release we’re having Killer’s Moon remastered from the original negatives and will be doing our best to ensure that both the US and, censors permitting, the UK DVD are both overflowing with suitably sleazy extras. Look out for Killer Moon around June 2008."

a rather special release

Nice, though I'd much rather they spend money remastering a better title.

Can't wait for the DVD of this. Makes me proud to be British every time I watch it!  :P

Anyone got any hi-res scans of the UK quad poster? I'll need them so I can make my own DVD sleeve to replace the pile of shite that Redemption will inevitably package their DVD in...  :-\

June 24 from Redemption USA:

Killer's Moon is Britain's answer to I Spit On Your Grave only sleazier. Produced in the late seventies it mixes lurid scenes of rape with Clockwork Orange Droog style menace, drugs and dollops of ultra violence all of which combined make this a true 'video nasty'. Centered on four drugged-up escaped prisoners whose only purpose in life is to 'loot, kill and rape' and who in true exploitation style seek refuge in the nearest girls school Killer's Moon starts off mired in sleaze and stays there.
Full of gratuitous sexual violence, a three-legged dog and some truly repellent dialogue this film is not to be missed. Not released anywhere since the halcyon days of the early 1980s this version has been completely re-mastered from the original negative.

The cover's not as bad as I thought it would be, very odd to see a quote from Blockbuster on there though!  :-*
