I'm not expecting anything different here, though both TORSO and 10TH VICTIM now have cooler covers.

Yeah, the new TORSO cover is pretty cool isn't it?

Very nice. This'll replace my old AB copy that wandered off into the woods like that stoned victim. Glad to see this getting a rerelease in region 1.

Yeah. It's really cool.

I'll get it. My German NSM DVD edition has such an ugly cover!
actually I quite like it.
it doesn't look like a giallo though, but none of the DVDs of Torso do, they all suggest a slaher/splatter-thing.
love the digipack-in-slipcase from NSM, although the slipcase states it's a movie by Fernando di Leo!

That's strange... On mine, it's supposed to be a movie directed by Giuliano Carminero!

Just watched the Shameless dvd, picture is very good.
The audio is ok for the most part, but there are a few small problems here and there.
As said before,if this had better (and possibly also Italian) audio it would have been a great disc.
Now it's a good disc.
As stated by Almar,Shameless are learning from previous releases and their newer releases seem to be getting better and better.

I got a copy of the Italian release from Alan Young Pictures.  The English track is problematic.  The opening credits are partially scored with the music heard over this scene (sans credits) in the US version but the rest of the credit sequence contains dialogue from the post-lecture scene which is then heard again after the Italian language lecture.

Extras include the misleadingly labeled US title sequence which is actually the export CARNAL VIOLENCE titles not the Joseph Brenner title sequence.  The US trailer is indeed the Brenner trailer which highlights Carlo Ponti as producer.  The marshland sequence is presented as an extra side by side with original lighting and the day-for-night tinting.

Martino does an intro and commentary as well.

Looks like the Blue Underground release is indeed a port of the Anchor Bay transfer (http://10kbullets.com/reviews/t/torso-blue-underground/).  Not useless but not perfect (it seems lazy to have not even tried to restore the lecture scene which has been available for quite some time).  Probably has the best audio quality of the bunch for the English track.

in a few scenes it looks like this was filmed near the big overpass that was in don't torture a duckling. when the police are interviewing a country bumpkin about a murder, he is standing next to a huge overpass that looks exactly like the one in Dont torture a duckling.

also the nude waterfall scene looks just like the same waterfall in the nude nazi nurses in Inglorious Bastards (original)

just watched this one, great filmmaking. superb suspense and the murder scenes are delightful. like it was mentioned above the scene where the blackmailer gets ran over is just awesome.

Would anyone be able to do a high res scan of the front cover of the recent Blue Underground release of this film for me, please?  I'm experimenting in making T Shirts and love the design of this cover.

Thanks!

If it's of any use there's a good high res scan of the original poster (same design) at the following link.  (Click on the poster on the page to expand it).

Thanks but I'd already tried that one, it would be fine if it weren't for the creases.  :P

Thanks again but since it will be the design for a possible t-shirt the image on Blue Underground DVD cover would be the easiest to cut out in Photoshop and there is no text on Suzy Kendall's dress.

Thanks for the suggestion though, it is a great looking poster.
