Euro Cult Movies - MIFED/CANNES 1980
« on: 25 Nov 2007 - 11:38 »

Got a couple of 'Variety' Film Market brochure/books from Sadistic a while back and thought it'd be interesting to scan some of the ads. Some of them are for films in pre-production, some are for finished films. Interesting to see the changes in titles and sometimes Directors on these ads as can be seen in the 'Man Hunter' ad, the film went on to be Directed by Jess Franco and re-titled 'The Devil Hunter'...

The books are A3 so I had to scan each ad in two parts. Loads more to come, here's the first batch...

Those were great days- wish independent exploitation films from Europe could still get worldwide distribution like they did back then.

Amazing stuff. I'm a sucker for artwork like that, especially the Hunter Of The Apocalypse one.
