Starring Edwige Fenech, Ray Lovelock, Carroll Baker...

Was the UK pre-cert uncut? Released on VPD.

It wasn't technically a pre-cert since it was classified by the BBFC in April 1987.

-> BBFC: The Virgin Wife

This work was passed with no cuts made.

What's the VPD print like? I used to have it on VHS but have lost the tape.

Seen a Greek one for sale but I'd prefer to get the UK one if the quality is good.

Watched this last night. I guess you either love Italian sex comdies or hate them. I don't hate them but I don't find them hilarious either. I do find myself smiling a lot when I watch them with English dubbing though. I love how rude they are, there's a scene or two where a girl is giving a blow job to a marzipan banana whilst her boyfriend is licking out a marzipan taco that would send Mary Whitehouse mental!

Directed by Marino Girolami under the name Franco Martinelli in 1975 (the same year he made Violent Rome)

starring Edwige Fenech, Ray Lovelock, Carroll Baker

I've not actually seen this film but i picked it up the other day but....

according to the BBFC it was cut for an "X" certificate upon initial release in 1976

BBFC link

The film was submitted for video in 1987 and was granted an "18" certificate and was passed with no cuts made.

BBFC link

Now my question is this, is it an uncut release or is it the cut "X" release resubmitted?

VHS cover...

Not sure if it's cut or not, looks intact to me though.

It's a bit faded along the left edge on the front but it's nice otherwise. You should give it a watch mate, it's good fun.

How Does A Husband Find His Get-Up And Go... When It's Got-Up And Gone - genius tag line! Edwige Fenech looks in fine form in that red leotard.
