Just watched this über-sleazy WIP film, and was quite pleseantly surprised. I didn't expect much from an Italian film from the 90s as most Italo films from the late 80s onwards became tamer and tamer. This one, however, is just as sick and sordid as one expects a good WIP film to be. The plot was mind-numbingly stupid and I frequently felt as if I was watching a porno film (without hardcore that is) but I'm not complaining as I had a good time throughout and found this to be one of the better Italian 90s flicks. Unfortunately, the Japanese version suffers from a lot of fogging since there's nudity every 5 minutes (do the Japanese really find genitalia to be that offensive?), so a DVD release would be most welcome. Any other fans of this mega-sleaze effort?

I did go through a WIP phase a while back but I don't think I've seen this one. There's actually quite a lot of WIP out there that hasn't made it to DVD and probably never will which sad really.

This one has actually been released on DVD in the UK but it's been cut to pieces. The 90 minute version was submitted to the BBFC in 1992 but was rejected. The current DVD only runs 72 minutes or so! That's a whooping 18 minutes of cuts!!!

There's a great scene where two naked girls are caged up in the hot sun and they're dying of thirst - so all they can do is lick the sweat off each other. Phew!

I remember that scene so I must have seen the film! Or does this sort of thing also happen in a Franco film? I'm getting confused here...

Haha! The film is full of silly moments like that! Which is why you'll often feel as if you're watching a porno film. Very enjoyable stuff.

I finally got the chance to watch this last night. There's nudity in like every scene but unfortunately I wasn't able to appreciate the full frontal one due the shitty optical fogging (I watched the japanese VHS). I heard there is also a French tape with longer running time and no fogging. Does anybody have the French version? The film itself wasn't too bad considering it was made by the director of GETTING EVEN (a terrible jungle action movie featuring stolen footage from Di Leo's THE VIOLENT BREED) but it was very slow in places. The nudity and some funny moments made it watchable.
