This looks like a very interesting giallo. People invited to a mansion are being offed by a killer who also collects their eyeballs. Any body have any specs on this title?

When I worked for Redemption we issued this on video - that was back in 1996. Sadly the BBFC insisted on 5s of cuts. Luckily I have an uncut version from the master tape 

I should point out that this film sold very poorly.

Yes, an English dub was never prepared for this film.

I recently got a DVD-R of this and thought that a fan 16x9 remaster could be quite easy to produce.

Is it only a scene where an eye get plucked out that´s missing in the Redemption vhs? Seems like something that´s been seen before (but allways spice things up a bit!), i have the Redemption vhs and was thinking of watching it in the christmas weekend acctually!

I guess I was one of the few people that actually bothered to buy the old Redemption video then. I quite like the film. I love its melancholy, eerie opening theme and find it a nice, rewarding film even if it is a little slow. Corrado Gaipa's police inspector is another plus, as are the pretty babes Isabelle Marchall and Patrizia Gori.

yes, it would be easy but it would have burned in non-removable subtitles.

From what I can remember, though, the subs were located on the black bars rather than on the image itself, so it wouldn't be too problematic...

The hardcoded subs could be ripped in SubRip and then blacked out.

I seem to remember placing them in the black bar under the picture when I had them done originally.

just watched Crazy desires... and liked it quite a bit! cheap, relaxing feel to the whole thing, not the most exciting giallo but good after a days work when you´re not all that concentrated. Unfortunate with the cut, but we get to see one eye-carving anyway. Nice print, and yes, the subs are in the black bar, but the music sounds a bit funny...
