Where do you buy your Euro Cult DVDs from?
« on: 03 Jan 2008 - 12:36 »

This question is probably aimed more at UK users but feel free to recommend good DVD sites if you are from elsewhere. I'm continually amazed by some of the foreign DVDs that you guys seem to pick up and I just wondered where you get them all from? I'm forever missing out on limited productions or new SE releases because I stick to mainly UK and US companies. So where do you guys shop?

Cheers

You can't really go wrong with Kult Video for easy, safe delivery without fear of customs charges.

I usually use Xploited but since there are some titles they don't have, I also buy a lot on eBay and I use http://www.cdon.com/ for most Scandinavian releases.

I you are interested in German releases, I'd recommend looking at http://www.1advd.ch/
Not that I buy from them very often - I don't and it's mostly because they are a bit expensive. However, what they do offer is screenshots from just about all the titles they stock, so it's an excellent way to check out the quality of some obscure German DVD before you decide to buy or not.

I love Kultvideo, always good service and very good prices on Italian discs. I get most of my German discs from Amazon.de.

I've only used Xploited once but they were good too. I'm always worried about customs charges though.

For more mainstream R1 titles I use axelmusic.com a lot. Customer service is superb, and I find delivery is faster than buying direct from the US. Cost is slightly higher but there is no risk of customs and you can pay in GBP so no commission charges.

I use Sin'art mail order based in Besancon,France who are a non profit organisation run by genre fans, always have the latest titles as well as magazine/fanzines from around the globe plus bargains, discounts etc.
On Ebay it's Orizzonti Digitali from Italy who are very fast,Kult Video as well who come highly recommended.
