Unfortunately, it's a reality here in Germany. I can't understand it either, I usually try to avoid all dubs and prefer watching the original language with subtitles. It's very sad if you think about all the gems the subtitle-haters will never be able to see. And there are MANY gems out there that have never been dubbed into German (well, I have to admit that some German dubs are really fun and give the movie a totally different vibe, and sometimes they are even better than the original language track but that's a rare thing -- VIRGINS OF THE SEVEN SEAS is a good example, as I doubt that the lost original version was as much fun as the German one is)...

I have the torrented version sitting unwatched on a hard-drive somewhere, but I'll be buying this Camera Obscura disc sight unseen.   ;)  Great work and I also hope it sells enough to keep the CO train running.

I assume it more or less impossible to know since a lot of foreign customers buy their dvds from German or Austrian dvd shops, but just out of curiosity, roughly how many percent of your total sales do you estimate are german/foreign out of your eurocult releases CameraObscura?

Sorry, I didn't state that correctly. The film will be in Italian audio only with German and English subs. The fact that there is no German dub, but only German subs makes it so risky for us. The German market is very picky about these things...

Ok thx for your reply! ;) You can't go wrong with italian audio/eng subs! ;)

Your artworks are also always awesome! ::)
