Has just died. He was 71.

He was well known for having directed Paul Naschy [Jacinto Molina] in many films, among others:

That´s sad news. I really enjoy both his Naschy films and eh... the others as well..

I thought his work with Naschy was some of the actor's best - a much darker tone than Klimovsky.

At least he was able to see his films find a new following on VHS and DVD and leave some comments in interviews and commentaries for future generations.
