There's that much great stuff coming out at the moment I just can't keep up. I've already got these on DVD, and no doubt these new BLUs blow them out of the water, but I simply don't have the room nor the time to watch them all.

It's hard enough trying to keep up with films I haven't seen!

Is anyone else in the same quandary?

Constantly.  If my existing DVD is adequate, I generally don't upgrade to the new blu-ray releases unless it's something really special.  I spent a good decade creating a DVD library and I don't have the energy and money to do it all over again.

There's bloody loads coming out this year.. well for my wallet to be able to afford anyway. I'm still catching up on the past few years as well.

This is a must but I actually cancelled my Amazon order when I got put back. I'm off on holiday on Friday and I kept it because I had a Prime trial so originally I would have had it yesterday. Not back until the end of the month so I'll just order it from Arrow then and get £2 in points. According to them it's 45% sold out so I'll be getting it sooner rather than later.

The set arrived today and thankfully its small enough to fit through the letter box so I didn't have to trundle off to the depot to pick it up. I hear what you guys are saying and totally agree. The PHIBES films are up there as all time favorites so I just had to have this as soon as it came out.

Strangely, I popped into my local HMV this morning and they had a copy even though it's not supposed to be out until Monday. £22.99 so cheaper than Amazon but a quid more than Arrow.

Tempted, but think I'll wait for the cheaper Amaray release. As Martin said, there is so much good stuff coming out, it's getting hard to keep up.

Agreed. A couple of years back releases worth buying were definitely thinning out; now I'm falling behind on them.

Checked out the extra features last night, apart from the commentary tracks. All very nice but nothing of great depth and insight. Nice to see Victoria Price on camera, never seen her before to be honest, she had a few nice anecdotes but on the whole didn't reveal much about her Dad apart from she thought he wasn't doing as good as she thought he could have done (acting wise) and how she didn't like watching his horror roles. David Del Valle does a good Vinnie P impression, not sure if he intended to do it or not but every time he quoted Vincent he put on his voice...

Picture quality on the main features looks mint, the first film looks better than the second one from the brief looks I had. Going to watch them through on Friday.

Despite never seeing either film I ordered this yesterday from the Arrowshop, the 45% of stock been sold helped but I'm looking forward to watching these two.
