Despite starring in just two Hammer films and a trio of Roger Corman horrors, Hazel Court has become firmly associated with the gothic horror films and a real fan favourite, particularly thanks to her willingness to talk about the productions, giving several interviews and releasing an autobiography at the beginning of 2008. She passed away in April of this year.
I was impressed to see coverage of her passing in most of the major UK newspapers and as my own tribute I've put together a biography and reviews page -
Hazel Court.
In my opinion her best performance was in Corman's seminal masterpiece
Masque of the Red Death (1964) but I never realised just how many television appearances she made and I will be very interested to track these down.
