Some frame caps. All the thanks in the world to Mike Martinez for going on assignment for me once again and to Joe for assisting.

I hope he talks about my favorite scene in THE BOSS where he uses that grenade launcher to kill the old mafia guys  ;)

Or how about the scene in killer vs Killers where he uses a falcon as a throwing weapon.  ;D

Hahaha yes, that one is a classic as well! Or how about the opening scene of the same film where he fires a huge rocket launcher from inside his car to blow up another car!  ::)

Sorry, no KILLER VS KILLERS. This is, after all, about "The Italian Cop and Gangster Movies that Ruled the '70s."  :)

But THE BOSS? Big-time yes.

You should get a long interview from Silva and then use the rest of the stuff to make a documentary on his career  :'(

well I'm glad you all enjoy it - it was easily one of the most stressful ordeals I've gone through in recent years.  However, watching the raw footage gives me a new perspective - it's totally hilarious!

Obviously I can't spoil it (because then none of you would watch it) but the guy has some... interesting... answers to the questions... and a very different way of communicating than my past interviewees (Mike Forest, John Dulaney, and Gordon Mitchell)..

Yeah, I can't believe I neglected to tell you about LLaL for so long! You should pop in to the "new members introduce themselves" thread and tell about your efforts trying to get Euro-cult stars to cameo in your feature MALEVOLENCE.

And over the weekend that silver fox known as Richard Harrison -- the endurance king of the Italian movie fads -- gave an interview for the doc. Another shoot DPed and camera opped by this board's own Mike Martinez!

He looks really great! He should be 70something right now, I guess...
If you see him again please tell him that Enzo Milioni (who was Sergio Grieco's assistant on Beast With A Gun) sends him a big hug.

Keep up the good work, Mike! :P

Like Federico said, he looks pretty good doesn't he?

Was he on form Mike? Any feedback from Mike Martinez as regards how the interview went?
