Lucky Luciano (Francesco Rosi, 73)

I saw a copy of this on VHS in one of my local charity shops but didn't pick it up because I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. I think it was a budget/bootleg company - M.I.A maybe? Does anyone own the tape? Is it worth a look?

Cheers

Some danish releases (VHS)

There's a cheap dvd here in Scandinavia, released by On-Air... 1,85:1 anamorph, eng. language, stereo. Price approx. £6

Thanks for the heads up - for some reason it's not available in Sweden so I'll buy the Danish release.

SBS TV in Australia screened this uncut, widescreen with subs years ago, but I don't have a copy.  Craig Ledbetter / ETC Video might have had a dupe of it as a mate of mine sent him everything SBS did for a few years, but I gather Craig (and his whole town) was hit hard by a hurricane some months back, with him breaking an arm and losing a shitload of tapes from his library.  Maybe Criterion will do it as they seem to be slooowly crawling through the Rosi library.
