I really look forward to this release, hope they will use a new transfer and English subs based on the Italian dialouge.

Any feedback on what is the best looking transfer? Anchor Bay (NTSC) or Medusa (PAL)?

The Medusa version is much better-looking to me... The Anchor Bay transfer doesn't hold up too well.
But the film is in italian only, and slightly cut (lizard scene) with out of synch sound on the following scene (it's short)...

Do we know if the Shameless release is delayed or not? There hasn't been any news about it.

As far as I'm aware there's no delay, although the stock was destroyed it's been re-pressed and will make street date.

Midday Thursday and HMV is still showing ' Item not yet issued by supplier', which for HMV is unheard of.

It's definitely due out on Monday. Some shops may not receive stock in time however.

No one's seen the Shameless disc yet? Hopefully some thoughts it'll show somewhere online soon.

I've got it. Haven't had time to check it properly yet, but at first glance the transfer looks similar to the Medusa disc and The Lizard scene is intact.
Here are a few screenshots from the AB, Medusa and Shameless discs. I had problems capturing exactly the same moment on the lower ones, but you get the gist.
