nice cover on that one .. def the best I've seen from this title.  Any suggestion on which DVD to go with ?  There are two Redemptions + a UK arthouse one..    Saw the movie covered on a blog recently and it looks good.

I have the very nice looking italian DVD (as LA MORTE NERA) that features beautiful artwork.

I like this film, too - it's got a nice atmosphere to it. I have the original US Redemption release ( with the blue ghostly 'Redemption' type image on the cover ).

I don't think any version of this is complete though - the opening murder is cut.

THE BLACK TORMENT at DVDBeaver.

I've no idea why they didn't release it on BD, especially now I know it was a scope HD master. I was hoping for one but luckily Odeon have said they'll be releasing on BD now. I can't imagine it would sell particularly worse than some of the titles they've released.

Seems that Odeon are releasing a Blu Ray in February.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Torment-Blu-ray-John-Turner/dp/B00LA1ZVUW/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1415855141&sr=1-1&keywords=Odeon+Entertainment

Out today and just bought it in HMV for £9.99. Caps on Odeon's Facebook page looked good  but won't be able to give it a quick check until at least tomorrow probably.
