Husbands and Lovers - Review

I just came across an article on Bolognini at SENSES OF CINEMA where the reviewer describes the film as "Slow and uneven, yet often hauntingly beautiful".  I didn't see the hauntingly beautiful part myself (the only other Bolognini film I've seen is THE INHERITANCE which I thought was boring).  HUSBANDS AND LOVERS is interesting to me as a Moravia adaptation.
