A couple of screenshots from my 40 minutes featurette about Il Mercenario that will be the main extra of the upcoming Koch Media release.
I just can tell you that good old Franco Nero has been wonderful (and so the other guys but I have to admit that he did a stunning interview).

Cool, will Koch be putting English subtitle options on the non English speaking interviews (was Nero interviewed in English or Italian?)

Excellent work!

Great that the world are getting such excellent releases, but it would make sense to put English on disks to pull in a bigger crowd.  ;D

As far as I remember, Mario Caiano interview on 'Il treno per Durango' DVD has English subtitles and I wish it is precedent  ::)

It's to do with what soundtracks they are allowed to use with the rights for the films they buy, that's why there are some sneaky English subtitles on most of them  :D

When I get this disc, I'm going to transcribe the German subs and put the fuckers into Google translate so I can at least half understand what the fuck they're saying.  Unless any Italian speakers want to let us know what's happening (Raf?).  Looking forward to this disc and I hope Koch have come up trumps with the transfer, the newish French disc had some mixed reports from a few (picky?) boards.   :-X

That's a very good news and it comes as a surprise to me since when I've asked Koch to put English subtitles on my featurette they told me it wouldn't have been possible.

Well, anyway, kudos to Mike Siegel for convincing them (and also for providing me many beautiful Mercenario images that I've used for the featurette)!

It's always nice when one of my productions is subtitled in English, I hope you'll enjoy it.
