Just got the Savoy Film DVD, English audio and 16:9 enhanced. Looks great when compared to the old VHS copy I have.

Haven't seen this for ages and I'm quite looking forward to giving it a re-watch, just checking it now and love the bit at the start where the guy's spying on the girl through binoculars whilst his apartment is being robbed behind him.

I tried watching this the other day. I'm ashamed to say I'm 30 minutes in and stalled... a lovely copy but it's not my favourite Milian. Time to try again...

I think you need to go into these Corbucci / Milian films with the knowledge that they are not hard and gritty action films but just light hearted, sometimes highly eccentric, comedies with a sprinkling of action thrown in the mix.

That does look nice so i think it might be time for an upgrade,any extras Jonny?

No extras to speak of really, a bunch of trailers for other films on the Savoy Films roster.

On the cover there's a big mention about how the film 'Guest Stars' Franz Beckenbauer, can't say I've ever spotted him in it before unless they mean the footage of the football match that's in the film?

I was expecting a light-hearted film and I don't mind Milian clowning around... I dunno. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood. Like I said, I haven't given up yet :-)

I love this bit, where Milian is waiting tables and gets some grief from one of Eli Wallach's men so decides to serve his pizza straight to his face...
