I was very much disappointed in the only crime outing for Tony Anthony.
The movie is basically the first Stranger movie reimagined as a 1930's Gangster flick (perhaps this has a lot to do with the director Vanzi).
Tony is a small time crook who orchestrates a big time caper with some big time crooks.
After the robbery is succesful the gangsters beat Tony to a pulp and make off with the cash. Tony, deeply pissed, Kidnaps the Godfather's girl and holds her for ransom.
A decent premise but it is far too slow to be entertaining.
There are some well put together scenes as well as a gruesome torture but it just plods along much like the first Stranger movie.
Celi is good as the Godfather and Tony is funny, as always, but a major hinderence with his role is that he was dubbed by somebody else

.
70% of Anthony's performance is his wise-ass voice.
What's interesting about the film is while most other directors chose a modern day Italy as the landscape for their crime pictures, this one takes place in the 30's and was filmed in West Virginia (in Tony's home town). Further proof that Mr. Anthony & co. always thought outside the box.
