Intercard?
« on: 18 Sep 2008 - 11:39 »

Has anyone been in touch with Intercard recently? I know august is usually holiday time for the Italians, but I have waited 6-7 weeks now to get an answer about how much postage for a certain poster will be, so I can pay them...

The customer service has been more or less non-existent since Nadia left. I haven't had a reply from them for months. I've tried emailing them several times but haven't heard anything back. A real shame because I really need another locandine binder.

I didn't know Nadia left?

I wrote them several times some months ago and finally got a reply after 4-5 weeks quoting a price for the poster I wanted. They were going to look into how much postage would be to Denmark and I haven't heard anything from them since. I guess I could just take my money elsewhere, but I really, really want that poster...

Its a shame Nadia left. She was very easy to deal with. Its too bad because I also need some stuff from them... LOTS of stuff actually... At least I already bought some rare Bruno Mattei posters from them.

Perhaps you should try phoning them? They really should do something about that website because ordering is a pain in the ass.

Adding prices would help!

Adding prices and a shopping cart system would probably treble their takings over night. I really don't understand why they have never done business that way.

Maybe they try asking different prices from different customers?

You mean like making up the prices as they go?   :-\

That wouldn't surprise me. I wrote a handful of mails to them in June, I think, and finally got two replies back in late July from two different people. The one asked a price of €100 for the poster I was after. The other asked a price of €200 for the exact same poster...  ???

So you purchased it through the most expensive person, right?  ;D

Haven't purchased it yet, because I still need to know how much postage is to Denmark, but yes, if I eventually am *allowed* to pay for it it will probably be the higher price. I really wish I had other options, but I have never seen the poster for sale before (well, once, but when I got a reply back from the seller it had already been sold).

Just got a bit curious. It was mentioned above that Nadia left Intercard. Anybody know when and why? Because everytime I hear good things about Intercard  people always mention Nadia. Makes me a bit sad that I did not try to deal with them earlier - not that I have much hope dealing with them at all, since they don't seem to answer emails anymore...

To be honest, no (though I probably should try). However, in an email I got in july they stated that they only had time to be in the store occasionally. I believe they were also moving at some point?
