Anybody seen this or owns a copy? The idea of a Poliziesco directed by the maker of SS CAMP 5 WOMEN'S HELL always sounded cool to me! I have been searching for this for quite some time and haven't been able to locate a copy yet.

The CVR version is on a friends list in Italy, should be able to get a copy in a couple of weeks if you want?

Do you know if it ever had an English dub?

I certainly need a copy of this... I would even like the VHS itself in case he is willing to sell or trade! For some reason this one looks like my kind of stuff!

You never know about an English dub (even LA POLIZIA ORDINA SPARATE A VISTA had one) but my bet is that Garrone's film didn't have one.

Just realised this did have an English dub as KILLERS GOLD,there's a very rare UK tape on the Avo Film label from the early 80's.

Damn! Anybody has this? This is one of those films that nobody talks about so I thought it never made it outside Italy, I was wrong  :-\

I've not got it, the UK AVO tapes are disgustingly rare.

I might be able to find someone who has it though. I will investigate.

Aaaahhhh, well... I used to have an NTSC copy of this, which I guess was taken from the UK VHS, but it died on me!  Did Garrone actually direct this, though?  Or was he just credited for the usual tax reasons?  I remember it as being really sleazy, with Daniela Giordano getting repeatedly fondled by Victor Israel - rather a disturbing sight - and Robert Widmark having the crap kicked out of him every five minutes.  But kind of compulsive...

Just watched this one and you're right about it being quite disturbing seeing Giordano getting it on with Israel. I couldn't believe it when he first appeared on screen in just his boxer shorts...

There's a tonne of fist fights in this, was Widmark (Alberto Dell'Acqua) a stunt man at some point? I get the feeling from the amount of fighting and leaping around he does in this that he's not one to need a stand in.

Haha I guess director Sergio Garrone (also maker of SS CAMP 5 WOMEN'S HELL) was never famous for his good taste! Can't wait to see this one!

Yep, all the Dell'Acqua brothers were stuntmen.  RW was a big star in Turkey as well (this was half Turkish I think).  A very annoying actor, so it's nice seeing him getting repeatedly punched...

Yes, that's for sure! And Turkish productions are always extremely trashy too so that must be a great match! His two horror films from 1974 with Klaus Kinski and Katia Christine were Turkish co-productions as well.

Hah I still have to watch those, I own THE HAND THAT FEEDS DEATH. Must have much in common with the other one right? Also have the maestro's ULTIMO HAREM. When I tried watching it, I thought it was quite slow-moving but I will give it another chance sometime.

They were made at the same time with the same cast and crew. I read somewhere that Garrone tricked Kinski into thinking that he was making just one film so that he didn't have to pay him for two movies!  ::)

I have only seen THE HAND THAT FEEDS DEATH in Turkish but, personally, I found it to be a much better film than the companion piece, LOVER OF THE MONSTER, which I saw in Italian.

I am pretty sure my HAND THAT FEEDS DEATH is English-speaking. I will do a "Garrone special" as soon as I get my hands on KILLER'S GOLD! This one + HAND THAT FEEDS DEATH + SS CAMP 5 + HELL PENITENTIARY  ::)
