Thanks Luca, I really appreciate you helping out - Jonny offered to help but I would have to send him my xvid file and then he would have to convert it/etc - if you can send him a copy that would be great Luca... I'm sure Jonny would appreciate it too.

No worries! All sorted my friend, I've spoken to DrMiaow and will send it to him this week. I had already converted the Xvid to DVD and made menus etc, so no it's hassle mate.  :P

Thanks to Luca I finally got to see DjangoLi and his wife's handiwork. They've done a fantastic job. It's the first time I'd seen it in the original Italian, and while I'm a big fan of Joe, it knocks spots off the dubbed version: the script is sharper, the humour is darker, and the sleaze, well...

Thank you!  ;)

I finally saw this SUPERB flick...extremely entertaining story, creative killings and Joe Dallesandro showing off with lots of different facial expressions -> just awesome! His dubbed voice reminds me of psychos such as Werner Pochath or Kinski and makes his character even more dreadful. Salerno is a solid cop, too!  It's a winner!! ::)

Hi

This movie took me by surprise and i really enjoined it. The new upgrade from vigilanteforce sounds like a winner. I only have the Greek version of this. By the way a big greetings to all you guys in the forums and a big thanks for all the great info.

Resuming this topic because I'm really glad I was able to locate a complete and uncut version running for 84'24", sourced from a telecine transferred on a VHS, hence some discoloration and not the best quality of course  ::)

Giving the track record of recent 01 Releases ... we stand very little chance of having any engl. options on there. BUT we there are some great fansubs ... if re-timing is needed ... well ... its not they i have something better to do.  ::)

You do realise there are at least three very noticeable grammatical errors in the two sentences you've just written?

Of course, we've been through all this before so I'm not going to make a drama out of this - just a few points:

1) You only ever translate INTO your first language. (Your first language obviously isn't English)

2) I have asked you (politely) many times before not to tamper with my work (precisely for the above reason)

3) If someone wants fixed subs for this new DVD all they have to do is shoot me a message/send me a copy of the film and I'll happily revise/re-time them. (but nobody ever does...)

4) As before, please ignore points 1 to 3, and just go ahead and do it anyway...  ::)

Morning folks  ;D

...oh, and Wayne, please don't remove my name (nicknames) from the end of the subs - do what you want to them, but please don't delete my name from the work - the rest I can live with (or have learnt to accept!  ;D )

First of all, yes, the grammer in those 2 sentences was god-awful, i am very sorry for that. Didn´t proof-read before posting.

1) I have only translated a few sentences in "roma l´altra ....". I never did a whole translation of any movie. Besides, there is no big german community for those kind of flicks ... so why even bother.

2) I´ve never received any kind of message from you. I only did the "roma ..." re-timing and there was no indication that they were done by you. Maybe some other douche removed the name ... i have the utmost respect for your work and i am more than greatful that we now can enjoy the movies we otherwise couldn´t.

3) Well good to know. The sole reason i did the re-timing was to give something back to this great community ... just a thanks for all the recommendations i got here. Not to steal anybodys "thunder". If i offended you by doing so ... i´m very sorry again.

With that said, it would be greatly appreciated if you re-time/re-visit the subs for "Fango bollente" when the new dvd is out.  ;)

I really do walk into these things!

Sorry, I thought you were someone else with a different name, that's all.

I sincerely apologise (and yes, I feel like an idiot right now)

No, go for it - and thank you for your previous job on 'Roma L'Altra Faccia della Violenza'.

...me hangs head in shame.
