With the upcoming English-friendly DVD of LA GABBIA in mind, has anyone seen the Cecchi Gori DVD of Lucio Fulci's like-themed THE DEVIL'S HONEY?

The disc is 16:9 and Italian audio only.  The English language Korean(?) DVD apparently leaves much to be desired in terms of picture quality but the Italian disc seems like a good candidate for a fandub.  I don't have the English version on disc (I have/had an English dubbed Swedish tape).

yeah that disc leaves a lot to be desired.    I mean,  it's not 100% unwatchable if you grew up with unth-generation bootleg VHS tapes like I did.   but it's not a high quality DVD by any means.   Great movie though !  :'(

Some grabs from the fandub, presumably this uses the Italian DVD for the image source...

Hmm most intriguing Mr Morris, unless your compiling a Fulci trailer reel for an upcoming release?

Not the best Fulci stuff, indeed. Anyway, it'd be a nice upgrade.

Did some work on the upcoming Blu-ray recently. If you've got the Italian DVD, it will be worth the upgrade in terms of picture quality alone. We also completed some cool interviews for the extras.  :)
