Just saw that Cinekult is releasing this at the end of august. No English options of course, but considering the film has already been subbed, I guess it won't be long before we see a custom dvd.

::) Wow! This is amazing news! We're really getting spoilt this year with the DVD releases. Thanks for the heads up, Peter. Will definitely be picking this one up. The best of the early Gialli IMO.

My Cinekult DVD of Libido turned up yesterday.  ::)
While the picture is not quite as sharp as I was hoping for, the DVD is still such a huge improvement over the shoddy old Luminous print that it's almost like watching a new film. It's certainly the best this film is ever going to look for now.

Too bad about the lack of English options but as Peter mentioned above, it's only a matter of time before someone transcribes the subs over from the Luminous print. Every Cinekult release of note has been fan subbed or dubbed so far so I'm sure this will get the same treatment.

Still a brilliant film and one of the best, if not the best, of the early B&W Gialli.

Good grief — that Luminous print as an abomination! The difference in quality is remarkable and a welcome improvement. Haven't seen this film, but I've read a bit about it…shame about the lack of English subs.

It looks like that day has come.  I've been looking forward to seeing this one as I'm a big fan of the "pre-Argento" giallos.
