Did he say anything about LA NOTTE DEI FIORI which he worked on as assistant director?

I don't remember!! I'll dig up the interview later and have a look!!

Just finished watching the Shameless dvd.
I was very excited about this release and I'm not disappointed.
The movie is much better in this version and I also liked the Italian track a lot more than the English dub.
Like the cover says it's a fan edition for the fans.
The composite is somewhat rough in places but it didn't really bother me.
I suppose it's the best Shameless could do on a realistic budget and a big thanks for it!

The actual movie edit was done by Farina (at my suggestion), so that's the best you're gonna get. The DVD itself (menus design etc) was authored by me. DVD releasing companies take note. ;)

I'd forgotten that this includes the Italian track with subs.  Top work Shameless and Marc!  :P

The Spanish dub replaces some of the music with the tracks by Santana and The Beach Boys!
how tasteless! Samba Pa Ti... Urhg!  :o
Idiotic, expecially when you've got a brilliant score from maestro Piero Umiliani! somebody get this out on CD PLEASE!

The outtakes come from Farina's own archive, and it's from what looks like a lower quality 16mm work print source so it's very difficult to match up.

the BU version is almost 10 mins shorter, though several deleted/censored scenes are among the extras - in a much lower quality though.

I wonder if it's the same material they used the extend the shameless version?

Really like the director's cut and love the fact that Shameless included the Italian track.
I prefer it above the English track.

The recurring main theme comes from the Umiliani album TODAY'S SOUND so it might not have an official soundtrack as such (the other tracks might also be sourced from other Umiliani albums and/or scores).
