"Quite similar to RISKING?"
Yikes! That's an understatement, considering that GANGBUSTERS re-used entire sequences from RISKING -- including a long car chase, the big rig (lorry) scenes, and the prison scenes.

My copy was from the lbx Italian language tape(Golden Video i think),decent quality as well.I didn't see any of those scenes you mentioned from RISKING though,definitely no prison/lorry/long car chase scenes.

(Maybe I can get Mr. Lovelock to clear this up...)

There's even voice-over in my version to try to explain the RISKING scenes, which would surely be non-sequitors otherwise.

The full running time on mine is 1:28.29s including the end credits and music playover,it also includes the dead cat on the tray scene.

Just received a copy of this from a German VHS on the Topic label - running time 1h 25m 51s -  (many thanks Canisius!), looks like it's the same version as the one Mike mentioned earlier.

Here are some screenshots of the opening credits in the italian vhs version.
Note that it lists Overseas Film Company other than Fama Films Ltd. London, which might
explain the differences (such as the use of footage from Risking, nowhere to be found in the italian print) between them.
