have watched the Arrow DVD of Stendhal Syndrome yesterday -

somewhere at wikipedia I found a remark stating that this version was slightly cut, though I couldn't find any other evidence of that. Can someone enlighten me?

What puzzled me when I was watching the movie was that I found it to be rather less brutal than I had expected. So was this due to cuts, or just my exaggerated expectations?

I don't think it's cut but the aspect ratio isn't correct.

And even if the BBFC do still decide to cut it then Arrow could always advertise it as being an 'exclusive edit'.

Although it is quite amusing to see somebody in that thread say "Maybe Ken Russell's The Devil might get the release it deserves now."

THE DEVILS has already been passed uncut - Warners UK won't release it because of pressure from the US.
