I don't want to disappoint you, but I think that Pulici was just kidding...

A trailer for a lost film
It was thought lost up until about 2 or 3 years ago when a 35mm copy was unearthed in a Rome archive and then screened along with a few other titles at the Trevi cinema as part of a festival devoted to Polselli,it was also due to have been released by NoShame just before they went out of business.

Great clip Jose :P

That’s a very cool story, I have always wanted to see this film after watching Delirium and The Reincarnation of Isabel. Has any new news surfaced about a possible release since it is obvious that with No Shame gone they are not going to release Mania!  :(

Completely amazing, looks like a great sexy 70's gothic horror full of surreal Polselli touches and general abuse towards women.  Fantastic trash!

Outstanding trailer! Just stunning! This film really does looks like a gem. I'm so happy that MANIA isn't lost after all. Now, if it could just get a release too...

Basically the Nocturno news about a DVD release in Finland by Tiger label is a fake. Some way was intended to advertise the forum and the magazine. Tiger label does not exist, even the dvd.

I managed to confirm this when asking a Finnish friend over on the Cinehound forums about this alleged 'Tiger' label. He said he had never heard of it and believed it was fabricated...so...good one Nocturno...always one for the fans, eh...

Been a while since I was on here...

I have been informed that a copy of MANIA is in the post to me. Once it arrives, I shall let you all know of my thoughts.

Now doing the liner notes for Vamp, Bay of Blood and Blu-Ray of The Beyond.

Of course! I was lucky to be invited to Orvieto at a festival where I met a few Italian distributors with their own collection. This is where Argento threw a glass of vino over me when I said at the table that I thought Giallo was a comedy. He then left.

Hopwfully it's here tomorrow. Can't wait to see in front of the plasma with a chiller beer or two.

Hehehe! I'd have loved to have seen that! Stroppy Argento!  :-\

Look forward to hearing about MANIA, can you do screen caps?

I'd love to, yes. How do I go about it?

Argento did like his wine. Quaffed a bottle and a half of vino and then got stroppy. I did ask him about the Blu-Ray of The Bird with the Crystal Plumage and he was extremely dismissive. "Too artificial," he said. When he told me that Giallo was his favourite movie, I simply could not keep quiet and go with what he was saying. Hence wine over me!
