The 5 Man Army AKA: Un Esercito di Cinque Uomini Expanded Version

On the heels of Guns for San Sebastian and the expanded version of Navajo Joe comes another classic Ennio Morricone spaghetti western soundtrack in its expanded version: The Five Man Army (1969) - AKA Un Esercito di Cinque Uomini.

Long believed to be lost, the complete score is presented here in clean monaural sound (given a light stereo reverb for listenability) from a 35mm music stem in the Warner Bros. vaults.

Fin de Siècle Media will release 'Omicidio per vocazione/E' stato bello amarti' by Stefano Torossi on 26th of October.
"Fin de Siècle Media are proud to present two wonderful scores by another Italian maestro - Stefano Torossi - whose music sadly has been somewhat neglected during the years. Originally released on LP by C.A.M. in 1968, OMICIDIO PER VOCAZIONE and E' STATO BELLO AMARTI show Torossi's ability to create suitable moods for both the giallo as well as romantic drama.
Carefully restored from the original LP master and presented in a 4-page digifile with original artwork and film stills, we hope that these highly sought after scores finally get the attention they so rightfully deserve. Limited edition 500 copies".

Secondly, no exact date but Beat Records will publish very soon 'Black Emanuelle' by Nico Fidenco. It will contain 34 tracks with total duration of 73:24 min and come in limited edition of 1000 copies.

La Residencia (The House That Screamed) / Quién Puede Matar A Un Niño? (Who Can Kill A Child?) - Waldo de los Ríos - soundtrack (2CD)

Limited edition of 1000 copies.

Here at last!!!... THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED (LA RESIDENCIA, AKA "THE FINISHING SCHOOL" and WHO IS KILLING A CHILD? (¿QUIÉN PUEDE MATAR A UN NIÑO?, AKA "ISLAND OF THE DAMNED"), two masterpieces by the argentinian composer Waldo de los Ríos for the two only films ever directed by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador, absolute cult classics for all european fantastique lovers, together in a CD that will make history.

After many years trying to recover this score, long awaited by the film music lovers, Singular Soundtrack located the masters of THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED, which many thought lost for ever. Hidden under other title, in a 1/4 tape with the music recorder for the film in a suite form (or "composer's cut"), it was recently discovered in the private archives of the composer, giving us the chance to enjoy the music for first time.

WHO CAN KILL A CHILD?, was released in 1976 on Hispavox as an LP (and released on CD in 2002), where there was a selection of tracks of the movie selected and edited by the composer to give the soundtrack a better chance in the general market. We have discovered and recovered the original tapes with the whole recording session, and checked that there where some fragments missing, and, most important, recorded material never used in the final cut.

Remixed and remastered from the original recording tapes, this is the best way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED and enjoy WHO IS KILLING A CHILD? as it was originally created.

We are proud to announce the first of a CD series that will complete a very special collection. Black Emanuelle is the head of BLACK EMANUELLE COLLECTION, 7 cd for 6 original soundtrack of the series interpreted by Laura Gemser, all composed by M° Nico Fidenco. The seventh release will feature a documentary on the genre, bonus material and a hard paper box that will keep all of your 7 digipack CDS together.

Black Emanuelle is a nice score by Maestro Nico Fidenco, one of the most important composer for Italian pop with a lot of successeful works in the cinema too. For that reason he rightfully deserves a prominent place in the relevant field. The score with his 70s flavour has been composed and orchestrated with orchestra and voice (Edda Dell'Orso) and has a rhythm sometimes afro, some other more energic and funky: it nearly seems to me to be listening to Azoto!
You can't be missing it if you are a fan of that period, if you like good music and of course if are still in love with the alluring stories that see the super-cult actress protagonist as a beautiful reporter!
The CD comes in a plasticized 2 folds DIGIPACK in limited edition, numbered from 0001 to 1000 (the number is inside the box, in the second page). Original artwork, film stills complete the products along with a 24x36 cm poster that features liner notes written by the music critic Fabio Babini.

Ordered that BLACK EMANUELLE Cd a few days ago, and hopfully will have it soon.  It's so cool to imagine the entire Fidenco series of Emanuelle scores in a box with nifty packaging and a doco.  I love the music to those movies.
