3D Week - Channel 4 - Flesh for Frankenstein!
« on: 06 Nov 2009 - 16:36 »

Looks like it will use the old red/blue technology but should be worth a look...

Film - Flesh For Frankenstein

The 3D version of Paul Morrissey's macabre, wacky 70s take on the Frankenstein story, starring Udo Kier and Joe Dallesandro. Baron Frankenstein desires to create a super-race of humans by making the perfect man and woman from bit of other corpses.

Next broadcast: Wednesday 18 November, 12.40AM on Channel 4

Great! I don't suppose anyone's recording it? And Friday the 13th III in 3D. I remember seeing that at the cinema when it came out. Lovely!

I think I might have got one possibility for us all. Best try to get as many avenues as possible though, just in case. I'll be recording it on standard def regardless.

Udo Kier will be in Olympia Saturday night to present the 3-D version of FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN at our annual film festival.  An uncut version of Ken Russell's THE DEVILS precedes it. After FLESH, there's an all night bill of films, starting at Midnight called, ALL FREAKIN' NIGHT including, STARCHASER: THE LEGEND OF ORIN IN 3-D, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, ROLLING THUNDER, STREET TRASH and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, PART 2.

No luck so far, I'm waiting to see if Gaz's lead comes up trumps.
