Opera (Dario Argento, 1987)

I couldn't find an existing thread on this one, so apologies if I missed it.

Re-watching it recently reminded me that this is Argento's last great film. In fact it got me wondering about the plot and how the killer is unmasked - and so after a little research here's the answer, which I must admit I was rather surprised at:

Crows Can Remember and Stalk People

I don't know how it escaped me, but I watched OPERA for the first time a few months ago. I really enjoyed it. Watching it almost back-to-back with EYES OF CRYSTAL - which is a good film in it's own right - just underlined again what a great director Argento is when he hits his stride.

I used to have it, full screen shorter version.

My review of the new Arrow 2 disc is up at DVDBeaver.

One error that needs to be fixed:

The 5.1 track on the International Version is the redub.  The 2.0 track is the Cannes dub.  The Arrow menu does not distinguish them (it does for the US edit, though).
