Only available as a 3 pack now, but Bill promises individual sales next month.

Looking forward to THE DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT!
Me too, and Night Child (I prefer The Cursed Medallion as the title though), never heard of that other one but it looks interesting.

Looking forward to them too, not looking forward to the hoops you have to go through to buy them.

Per usual with code Red's demented marketing strategy, the first installment of 3 packs sold out in 1 hr, and he'll have more available sometime this week.  Bill had been moaning all week @ bluRay that these were weak titles & then they sell out in a flash.  Hopefully by the time they split up for individual sales there will be a solid review or two as to the quality of the sources and transfers.  I know it's absurd to complain about how he runs his business, he has never taken one word of advice to heart and will never change...but damn if is not still annoying.

Bill's business plan is tried and tested and never changes... his words are the same, the complaints are the same - and they haven't changed for the last fifty years.

Listen closely and you can hear his highly sophisticated marketing strategy here:

Why should he change? People keep putting up with his crap, and keep buying his releases.

He puts a movie on a BD disc, without any effort to provide much in the way of quality (no menus, underwhelming transfers with poor compression, "brand new" discs full of scratches, covers that look like a poor photocopy), and yet due to the self-imposed scarcity, people keep purchasing his releases, at ridiculous prices.
Heck, he even pulls crap such as selling the titles as a bundle-only, people complain, and yet they still purchase them.

With so many worthwhile releases, from so many worthwhile labels, why support people like Bill?
For less than the price of one of his BD's, you can currently purchase, for example, the The Cat O'Nine Tails / Deep Red / Inferno, or the City of the Living Dead / The House by the Cemetery / The New York Ripper BD sets from Blue Underground. Or the recent The Beyond BD + CD set from Grindhouse Releasing. Or one of the Bava releases from Arrow. Or one of the Vinegar Syndrome BDs with 4k transfers. All without jumping through hoops.

Will probably get that Mark Damon film.

Have the Night Child already on 2 DVDs so don't need it again.  Also don't reckon it will be that much of an upgrade.

That 3rd one looks suspect and im not prepared to buy any more of CR's dross so will wait for a review or three.

Does he really need more commercials here ? the guy's an asshole and don't deserves a single support !

Let's hope 88 films or another serious label will release Devils wedding night !

I certainly wouldn't call 88 films "a serious label"

Lots of people buy all the above and still want more, that's why.

For all the warts. blisters and skidmarks, Code Red releases titles no one else touches.
This remains their main value to the fans of genre filmdom.  MAD BOMBER,LOVE BUTCHER, DEVIL'S EXPRESS, BUTCHER BAKER, WITCHMAKER, BABYSITTER, VAMPIRE'S NIGHT ORGY ect, ect....the list goes on & on.   Maybe not the best sources & technical specs every time, but by far the best versions of so many obscure films the so called big guys wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

That said, I did feel burned by a blind buy of DEATH MACHINE ( and a few others too ), no way every title is a winner for everyone.  THE OBSESSED ONE has a great trailer for example, but something tells me if I blind buy that one I'll regret it.

I think Code Red do a fantastic job releasing films nobody else would (babybreese put it so much better) - and while his 'marketing' skills are a tad strange, I don't think it should put anyone off supporting Bill's efforts.

Just wait for the discs to pop up on eBay or Diabolik and avoid any 'Code Red' discussions on forums, etc. You're buying the films because you want to see them - not because of the company that released them, surely?

Ive bought too many of CR'S 5th rate "Blaxploitation" films to even risk another. "Devils Express"..blech. Not much better than home movies. Im thinking that will be another one. Of course I could be wrong.
