I do too, it would translate to better sales as more customers would be aware of them.
Sadly Screen Archives does not want to touch previously released titles, despite people asking them to, they only want 'exclusive' releases.  :(

Who said that, Bill?

They've got quite a few Blu's that Code Red put out before on DVD and some of them are ones released very recently too.

Yeah, I thought it was just stuff Bill had already released and had stock they weren't touching. I heard some of the Cotmsn stuff sells shit and it's very U.S.-centric so I'd have thought the other three would be much better to give to SAE..

Some of those blus look interesting. I had Silk on VHS for years, so a Blu is a nice surprise.
Just wondering, does Bill do Blu and DVD combo's or just Blu-Rays in these releases?

I was confused, as blob mentioned, mostly they don't want anything that has been sold via the Cartel, but even still there are exceptions to that ( MARY MARY, ect ).  It is a vague and confusing stance SAE have taken.

Only one out the three is 90's. and that's early at '91. The other two are mid 80's.

Nice write up on the new BD of PEOPLE WHO OWN THE DARK looking at the BD vs. the DVD release.
http://www.dvdexotica.com/2015/12/the-people-who-own-dark-code-reds.html

I am OK with this one, at least it's a complete print, but had severe fade which was only corrected to a degree.  The other 2 BD's were color corrected and both look worse to me color wise ( they are from the same source seen on the DVD releases ).
No idea if the source for PEOPLE could have been colored to achieve a better end result, but am pretty positive the other 2 should have been left alone as opposed to what was done to them.  I posted some comparative caps at Latarnia in the Spanish folder.

DEADLY HERO and BRUTE CORPS BDS are up at SAE.

I watched PEOPLE WHO OWN THE DARK and wish it were in better condition, but find it preferable to the DVD edition.

I imagine picture detail on "People" and "VNO" will be higher than that of the DVD edition...

Thanks for posting those screen caps at Latarnia forums Babybreese, they helped me make my mind up not to buy those other two. I will get PWOTD though.

Of those new releases BRUTE CORPS is a good film but not sure if I will upgrade I only bought the DVD last year.

Picked up the blu of L'ossessa recently. A revelation after all those shite VHS and DVD transfers. But the choice of title is unforgivable.

Having watched VAMPIRE'S NIGHT ORGY BD I can report that this is from an unadvertised new source, much cleaner than the print transferred for the DVD.  Colors have occasional issues but overall I am very happy with this upgrade, the film looks much better here.

CUT THROATS is also from a different print than the DVD, but haven't watched much of it yet.
