Roger Moore, John Steiner, Ian McShane, Richard Burton, Donald Pleasence and Stanley Baker are some that spring to mind that you haven't mentioned.

Always enjoyed the work of Patrick Magee (The Fiend, Demons of the Mind, and the little known A Clockwork Orange) - could be an incredible ham at times, but always highly entertaining).
And, of course, another Patrick - McGoohan, tho' I believe he was originally American...

Magee's like fine wine and "I'm glad you appreciate good wine", Justin.

Magee's like fine wine and "I'm glad you appreciate good wine", Justin.
Which has just reminded me of another, Malcom McDowell.

Of course... McDowell.
And we could mention Terence Stamp.
Old luvvie Attenborough was great for a period - Séance on a Wet Afternoon, 10 Rillington Place ect.
Paul - Magee is particularly amazing in the 'What big eyes' ep of Kneale's 'Beasts'...
