A couple of titles I'm looking for...
« on: 04 Jan 2011 - 01:12 »

I'm working on a new project that should take in all the 1960's gialli that haven't been subbed... A big part of this project is finding the best available prints to work with. Surprisingly, it's all looking quite good and I'm genuinely surprised at how easy it's been to locate most of them in good quality (many of them are digital tv captures, thank god for late night Italian tv!)

Anyway, one title that I haven't seen around is called 'Un Alibi Per Morire', directed by Roberto Bianchi Montero (1961). Does anyone know if this available anywhere? I've asked around and so far I've drawn a blank at every step.

Another one is Eugenio Martin's 'Ipnosi' from 1962 - I have a very good copy but it's dubbed in Spanish and I'd prefer to work with the Italian audio track. Again, does anyone know if there's an Italian version available?

And before I forget - I'm still looking for the Spanish (export) version of Alberto Cavallone's 'Afrika' - I was promised this from a forum member here but it never turned up. I'm not one to go chasing people for discs so if anyone else can help out, it would be appreciated.

Something tells me I'm asking the impossible here - but I figure it's worth a shot.

Well, not quite mission impossible - I have located the export version of Afrika and that should be on its way to me in the next few days.

I'm just looking for the two giallos mentioned above now.

EDIT:::

Just located an Italian language version of Ipnosi... I'm only looking for Un Alibi Per Morire!
