Was just watching this again last week when i noticed ,at the start Gianni Garko buys a Process booklet off of a hippy in a long black cloak The Process were a weird satanic cult based in London in the late 60s to early 70s,( there was a really good English novel written afew years ago) the temple and its followers  included members of the Manson family, and a lot of big name rock stars .

I just saw the trailer to this (as the American title, Desperate Moments) last night as apart of the special features on the Redemption DVD of Girl On A Motorcycle.

It seems like an appearance of a long, psychedelic drum solo was a prerequisite for any Morricone soundtrack to an early 70s giallo.

Hi fenriz.

I have the Sodemented DVD. It's widescreen anamorphic and includes French subs. If you want it I can send to you. I don't like this movie, and would be glad to give it away.

Just referencing the information above, it doesn't appear that the Italian track was included on the Redemption/Kino blu-ray after all.  As far as I know, none of the DVD releases available include the Italian language track.  I just finished re-watching this movie via the Another World Entertainment release.  Some of the accents in the English dub are a bit overdone (especially the cockney and Italian characters), but I thought overall it fit in just fine especially considering the actors were obviously speaking English.

This one seems to get labeled as fairly mediocre, but I rather enjoy it.  Smartly directed by Castellari with many interesting camera and focus techniques, this movie saw him transitioning quite nicely from Western/historical based material to contemporary crime thrillers.  A claustrophobic production overall centering on four desperate characters thrown together in a deadly scenario.  It strikes me that the film is really only marginally related to the giallo genre most especially due to the opening nightclub act sequence that, while creating a theme, doesn't much tie into the main plot.  Features one of those Morricone scores that isn't a lot of fun to listen to on its own, but generates a great sense of edginess in context with the movie.
