I just noticed this today as well.  Cool movie, but I'm not sure I'm going to upgrade from my old DVD.  Coincidentally I noticed that the MGM HD channel here in the States is playing this later today (along with a bunch of other sci-fi/adventure type stuff...I was watching a bit of "The Land That Time Forgot" as I was getting ready for work this morning).

Watched this about 6 months ago on film4 HD and it looked really good. I'm assuming this will be the same print?

Dunno, possibly, if it is it would look better as they look even better on blu than broadcasted (can't remember what but Paul told me, they were 720 or i instead of p, or maybe even 720i).

Anyway, this is my favourite out of them Doug McClure films like this.  ::)

It was also on one of the Netflix regions - US or Canada. Don't know if it's still there but I didn't watch it. Pretty sure that would be the same one. I'll be getting it eventually. Apparently whether the other Kevin Connor / Doug McClure films are released will depend on the sales of this one.

Yeah, I think TV and streaming HD stuff is 1080i, maybe lesser quality. To be honest I can't tell the fucking difference. It all looks good to me.
