I’ve not seen it but the film was quite well received when it came out and became a calling card for the director who has since gone on to direct CASE 39 and PANDORUM.

Yes, saw a screener of this a few years back. Don't recall much detail I'm afraid but remember enjoying it, in particular the chilling atmosphere and great central performance.
