I think this is a fantastic idea, the amount of times I've put a title into the search that I know there is a thread for and nothing comes up.

One thought though, do you not think it would be best to put them in order of English title(When there is one)?

When I made this list ages ago and this is how I set it out, I'm at work at the moment and just haven't got time to edit it. Though I will in due course.

Brilliant!

Something that we could do would be putting the best English friendly release available or best available if not English:

Almost Human aka Executioner aka Kidnapping of Mary Lou    Milano odia: la polizia non può sparare    1974   Umberto Lenzi - DVD (Noshame, USA, R0, English)

Brothers 'til We Die    La banda del gobbo    1977   Umberto Lenzi - DVD (Neo, FR, R2, Italian/Français)

Possible but wouldn't that info be best saved for the thread? To stir up discussion etc?

There's also this on the site for DVD info (though it is out of date a bit)

True true Jonny.

The problem in the thread, (unless it is in the first post), it takes a long time (for me anyway!! doh!) to find what the best is. And even then I'm not 100% sure.

Have a wee summary allows a quick glance to know "right I can buy that dvd".

Yeah, i stopped using that as it out of date.  ::)

I'm sure we can add something at some point. Let me get everything linked up first though.

This is a great idea for me personally. I'll admit to still being fairly newish to the genre, or at least new to really liking it anyway. It's only been fairly recently that I've got really into it so the easier the reference points the better for me in deciding what to head to next. I have to say it's been a breath of fresh air and it's actually becoming one of my favourite genres.

I've used this site in the past and it does contain a small amount of info regarding whether a particular title is on DVD, VHS or been on TV.  It also contains info on some obscure titles.  It might be useful in fillling gaps in the list.
