He earned more money at 10 years old than I'll ever earn in my life, the little bastard!!

But yeah, I'm keen to see these new Hammer outings.

Proper schizoid post there, Andy  :-\

I've been to the pub for lunch today.  ::)

Few cheeky pints with my bacon cheese burger.

To be honest, not really. I prefer Coca Cola, but I did find it in a UK grocery store. They sell 3 litres bottles of it for 5€ or some insane price like that.

You're an embarrassment to your country. No wonder you live in France.

All this talk of Scots and the actual subject of the thread. Has anyone seen David MacKenzie's excellent LAST GREAT WILDERNESS?

It's good. MacKenzie is a very underrated director, IMO.

Haven't seen it either..

On the subject of burgers though, I just moved back to the UK from the States two days ago and went on a burger fest. Had three bacon cheeseburgers in 4 days because I knew I wouldn't be eating one like that again for a while... delicious!

I saw this today - it a good, atmospheric chiller and is nicely shot but you get this overwhelming sense of being reminded of better films throughout. It owes a huge debt to DON'T LOOK NOW, but there many nods to WICKER MAN, PET SEMETARY and others. It's a bit of a "cinematic blender" in all honesty. It's good though, just not amazing.
