This may be the same print. The picture is excellent. As good as any of the italian exploitation releases from media blasters. The sound is very clear 2.0 mono.

The onscreen title is HEROS D' APOCALYPSE. Is that the title on the Vipco release?

I'm hopeless with such a question but not anamorphic (the thinnest band), i think the next best ratio.

Looks pretty good too. :D

I'm gonna go through their schedules with a fine tooth comb because they're also rotating MASSACRE IN ROME and KILL ROMMEL. :-X

Watched MASSCARE IN ROOM today, highly recommended with a brilliant cast including Richard Burton,John Steiner and Leo McKern, and including a great Morricone score.

The story documents the Gestapo reprisal of murdering 320 Italians in retialiation for 32 German soldiers killed by resistance fighters. It immediately dawned on me (remembering Christopher Fraylings audio commentary on the DUCK YOU SUCKER dvd) that the murder of the Mexican revolutionaries including Juan's(Rod Steiger) 6 son's in the caves is of course a reference to the 1944 cave massacre in Rome.

Is that the one that gets continually repeated on the satelitte channel Moves4Men? Keep meaning to sit down and watch it but I just don't seem to have the time these days....

Yes and both myself and  the missus were captivated by it.

I also caught up with CHURCHILLS LEOPARDS last night taped from the same channel and thoroughly enjoyed this too.Its very spaghetti western in style with the facial zoom ins and cast including Klaus Kinski,Richard Harrison,Frank Brana and Fernando Rey. :) :) :)
