Monster Mag

Anyone remember this? I used to buy it when I was a kid, apart from number 2 which got banned for some reason and only came out in France.

I've got a couple of those somewhere. Issue 3 and volume 2 issue 1 I think.

The Seventies were fucking great. Let's be fair.

I bought quite a few of these from my local shop when I was a kid. The owner didn't give a shit that I was only 12  ::)

The Seventies were fucking great. Let's be fair.

Bloody right Kev!

Do kids today still like monsters? I'm serious! Where are all the MONSTER MAGS? My local newsagents is as dull as ditchwater.

I had Vol 2 No 2 and had that Hammer poster up on my wall as a kid. Yes, I was a bit of a strange kid - my mates had footballers, motorbikes or girls on their walls. I had Hammer posters.  ;D

I still have a few copies of my old Monster Mags!

It was an excellent magazine. It's true, newsagents are so bland now, there's nothing cool out there for kids.

There's a few UK horror mags available now though but many you have to order online...

Shock Horror
Scream
Bedabbled
The Darkside

They should bring back Monster Mag!
